MadameButterfly · 27/05/2004 22:14

Maisystar, you are welcome to join us.

Ronniebaby · 27/05/2004 22:59

Maisystar Hula normally drives.

But yes you are very welcome

maisystar · 27/05/2004 23:02

cheers! i am seeing her tomorrow as we are off to see BARNEY! an experience which may deeply traumatise us and leave us scarred for life.

however if i survive i would love to come to your meet!

discordia · 28/05/2004 14:25

Planning to come. It's on my calendar. Weather forecast currently says Tues will be dry but cloudy. Traffic update: A38 improving as regular users find alternative routes! Is worst between A516 intersection and Markeaton Island.

discordia · 28/05/2004 14:25

BTW, how will I recognise anyone???

MadameButterfly · 28/05/2004 14:29

HI discordia.
I am short and dumpy with sort dark hair. My DD will probably be wearing a peach outfit and balloon reins.

Ronniebaby · 28/05/2004 22:37

Discordia, you'll recognise us, we are the loud ones, but the ticket office.

Just shout MN and we'll look.

Well it's Friday at 10.34pm, and no work came in, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So I'll defo be there.

MB - 10ish at yours as discussed.

Ronniebaby · 28/05/2004 22:38

Plus you'll prob hear me shouting at my DS.

Dominic

WedgiesMum · 29/05/2004 22:54

Any train times yet Mez???

You'll definitely recognise us, I'm really tall with glasses, DS is the world's biggest 5 year old and will probably be stropping, and DD will be hiding and pretending to be shy......

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 08:11

Maisystar - you can come with me if you want. I will drive so can take you. If you DS needs a car seta and you don't have one can you let me know asap and I will pick our spare one up from PILs . E-mail me!

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 08:14

Discordia - I am quite short at 5 foot with dark hair. DD is a 2yo, and will have black MacLaren Volo buggy with us. Our picture is on Moderators page - so is RB and MB I think too, so you can go and check us all out

Anyone seen Derby forecast at all?

maisystar · 30/05/2004 18:09

what time is the meet likely to go on until? my parents have just decided to visit on tues but not till afternoon. 3ish i think.

i suppose it depends on the weather as well but just a rough idea if poss, cheers!

hulababy, if i'm able to come a lift would be great and so would the loan of a car seat-mines in n. yorks!

Ronniebaby · 30/05/2004 18:58

Maisystar we are normally there at 11 ish til about 2 ish, maybe before all depends on the weather.

According to BBC Weather for Derby, its gonna RAIN. Bummer weather

So looks like a quick meet then, maybe just Mcd's.

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 19:11

I should be able to get you back by 3ish MS

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 19:14

Weather forecast seems to keep changing hour by hour at moment too. Tomorrow was supposed to be rainy and Tuesday fine when I changed first thing, but now seems to have changed Will check again daily now!

discordia · 30/05/2004 19:55

I just checked the forecast too. However, as Hbaby says, it keeps changing! I have a large umbrella! BTW, I'm small (5'3" and on the petite side), browny hair in no apparent style, accompanied by dd age 7, long blonde hair and ds age 5, short blond hair! I will be carrying a large blue backpack as if ready for a polar expedition.

maisystar · 30/05/2004 19:58

cheers hulababy. ok would like to come

bbensley · 30/05/2004 20:04

Unfortunately I can't make this one
but will definitely try again for the next one

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 20:18

LOL discorida will look out for you

bblensey - hope to see you next time though

MS - I've e-mailed you to make arrangements.

Easy · 30/05/2004 20:21

Just to let you know that we're definately intending to come. If the weather is really out of order, ds wants to know if anyone will come to bumpi's with us? (for those who didn't join in in february, its a soft play centre in Derby)

I hope the weather holds tho'. I always think they haven't a clue about the forecast until 12 hours before at most.

Oh, and for those trying to spot the mumsnetters, I'm a short, portly mum using a crutch (think Dr Weaver from ER), with a son who goes up to talk to everyone passing.

MadameButterfly · 30/05/2004 20:23

I like the idea of going to Bumpiis again if the weather is bad. DD relly enjoyed it there last time.

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 20:26

Bumpis is find by me - if I can find it again - but how busy is it likely to be as half term? Do you think it'll be okay?

MadameButterfly · 30/05/2004 20:27

It was half term last time we went, so likely to be as busy as it was then.

Hulababy · 30/05/2004 20:40

Of course it was - completely forgot. Well, it wasn't too bad was it? Did we arrive around same time last time - think so???
