Hulababy · 09/05/2004 18:48

Half term for me in 31st May - 4th June.

If the Bank Holiday Monday I will have DH with me. Rest of week I can do any day as on holiday

Ronniebaby · 09/05/2004 20:29

Hiya Ladies

Well as haf term is end of may etc, and MadamB is away, we could always do the Tuesday instead of the Thursday.

As long as I book it pretty quickly I'll be ok.

Can I provisionally come too? new baby due 15th May, so am hoping to be back in the swing of things by then!! and 2 dd`s, 9 and 7, will enjoy Markeaton.

discordia · 11/05/2004 11:03

Would like to come. See if I'm feeling brave enough (find large no's of new people scary!).

McDonald's opposite Markeaton Park has indoor play area. Might be an option, depending on how many are coming.

fairydust · 11/05/2004 14:20

bbensley · 12/05/2004 12:24

I would like to come. I'm a bit shy IRL so might bring a friend or my sister if thats ok?

MadameButterfly · 12/05/2004 13:52

Bbensley, you are welcoe to join us. Feel free to bring someone along if you prefer, the more the merrier.

Hulababy · 12/05/2004 14:00

As madamebutterfly says - the more the merrier In the past I have even brought DH along!

discordia · 13/05/2004 11:52

For anyone who has not been near Derby recently, there are roadworks on the A38 near Markeaton Park - they start just south of Derby at the moment and continue as far as Kingsway island. There are considerable hold ups at times as traffic is down to one lane in places with single lane traffic. Work continuing until July. What fun.

Hulababy · 13/05/2004 14:53

Grrrr. I will be coming from other direction. But I guess could still get held up as I get closer. Will set off exxtra early!!!

Any time yet?

Easy · 13/05/2004 16:12

Expect to see us there. You know we always like a get-together, ds loves to meet up with "mummy's Mumsnet friends" and their kids.

Only thing to stop it is if I've got a job by then. So we'll be there then

WedgiesMum · 13/05/2004 20:54

No one seems keen to suggest a time so I'll put my big feet in shall I???

Do we want to do a bit of a play then picnic then play?? If so then how about 11.00 (just so it's not too busy when we arrive???).

WMxx

ps we are all lovely and nice, honest, even me (well most of the time anyway )

Hulababy · 13/05/2004 20:56

11am is fine by me

Can we go on the train? Please, can we? can we? pleeeeeeaaaaaaaaasssssssse!!!
