I don't know where that is but could find it. I'm on block for the next 2 weeks. Do we bring our little ones? If Toothache needs a lift then I can pick you up. I can't guaruntee (sp) being able to get to hospital if needs be.

kalex · 15/07/2004 13:41

gscrym, it's really easy to find and is well signposted.

Definately need to take the kids, they will really love it, they also have a Ceramic centre on site and go karting for the older ones.

Food is really nice, loads of homebaking,

So next we need to decide on a date, I am free weekends and Wednesday and Firday's

JanZ · 15/07/2004 13:49

I could make Perth.

I'm free most weekends, with the exception of 14/15 August.

Is it possible to get there by train? (In case dh is using the car - the football season starts again soon!)

kalex · 15/07/2004 18:17

Janz,

Yes. Trains are fairly frequent to Perth, (don't know where you are coming from) if you come on the train, let me know I can pick you up.

gscrym · 21/07/2004 10:27

bump

JanZ · 21/07/2004 10:34

Anyone going to have the courage to suggest a date?

gscrym · 22/07/2004 16:06

It's getting on a touch for arranging anything for the next few weeks so how about trying to do the october school holidays or would it be better for people if it was when the schools were back.
Also, how many people are in the throws of having babies at the moment. I know Toothache is imminent but what about the rest of you. I'm jus asking incase there'll be busy months ahead with lots of Scottish babies.

Am new to site, recommended by friend. Would love to go to meet-ups. Have a dd(nearly 4) and a ds(9 months) In Falkirk area.

muddaofsuburbia · 22/07/2004 23:40

Can't join you yet ladies, but we're moving back to Scotland this Oct/Nov near Balmaha - then count me in [smile}

gscrym · 23/07/2004 11:20

How are you Haggis and welcome. Where in the Falkirk area are you. I'm in Stenhousemuir.

tabitha · 23/07/2004 14:50

Hi everyone,

haven't been able to get on mumsnet much recently.
The October hols would be fine for me - I'll be back at work then but plan to take the week off -but I know that different areas have different October weeks so that may pose a problem. Two of my kids go to school in Falkirk area and their October holiday is a week earlier than the Edinburgh schools holiday, where my oldest dd goes to school.

haggis1 · 24/07/2004 20:48

hi gscrym, thanks for welcome, am in Denny area.

sammac · 27/07/2004 10:54

Haggis1, what a lovely surprise to meet you last night! Imagine 2 mn being in the same restuarant at the same time

I enjoyed our chat and it was nice to find we had so much in common. Yes, I'd love to meet with you again and your little dd and ds. Thankfully we're quite close.

Speak soon.

lyndap · 27/07/2004 11:10

Would also fancy a Mnet meet up. I'm in Stirling but work in Glasgow 3 days a week so I may need to do some juggling (what's new!!)

haggis1 · 27/07/2004 21:54

sammac, yes, i really enjoyed meeting up with you too. I've never met another mn before.
I would like to meet up with you and your dd and ds. Perhaps we could meet up before your dd goes back to school.
I'll book a sunny day!
Forgive lack of (smileys) haven't worked that out yet!

sammac · 27/07/2004 22:02

T'would be lovely haggis.

kalex · 28/07/2004 20:56

What about the 1st saturday of the holiday fortnight. (octiber) that is, although that seems a really long way off

Linnet · 29/07/2004 23:53

I'd love to try and come to a Scottish meet up but we're going away in the October holidays Maybe next time.

By the way for those of you who haven't been there Noahs Ark is Fab my dd always has her birthday party there.

Linnet · 07/08/2004 01:52

oops I killed the thread. Never done that before I guess there has to be a first time for everything though.

gscrym · 12/08/2004 11:23

I'm bumping this to see if anyones still interested. All we need is a date and we can go freom there. I'm getting an operation soon and I'll be off for a little while so a meet-up would be nice.
