incase anyone is still reading this post....me, Dp and DD had a great day yesterday at the formby squirrel reserve as ive never been before and took loads of photos of them on mobile phone, we were feeding them with their foods and also our grapes as we had a pinic but DD who never seen the squirrels before was shouting "MIRRELS" "MIRRELS" before they all vanished in thin air...i was trying my best to say "ssshhhhhhh" !!

Hi Biglips, I think we're still looking for suggestions, I thought the Comedy Club would be a good night out, but no-one seemed interested. I don't fancy trailing around the city centre, going from bar to bar.... I'm too old for that now!

well Comedy club is excellent as a really good laff but best to have a meal from somewhere else as my Nieces mum went 2 weeks ago and the meal is so expensive and you also dont get a lot either.. x

Am open to offers, thought we'd decided on the Chinese Karaoke?!

Hiya Browny - today is the first day I've felt anywhere near normal again. Hoping we're over the worst. J seems completely recovered but A is still a bit grotty. Will get in touch when we're all well and arrange a visit to see your lovely furries! And the cat and dog too!

anything being done about the xmas night..suggestions seemed to flop and now thread is dead so dont know whats happening. Not really in any fit state to trail around bars in town but didnt mind going for a meal.

nemo - i think cos there is noone to organise it...and its not going anywhere....

it would be a laff at the comedy club as im not really up for kaoroke unless im pissed!

just looked online at comedy club ..
for the weekend we were looking at it is £40 each with dinner or £20 each to sit in seats in the upper circle .
also drinks are really expensive here and you can only get served at the bar in between acts so then it is a bit of a mad dash to the bar .
have been a few times and it is a good night but does work out to be really expensive .
so close to xmas maybe not such a good idea !!!

Browny - still no mail from you, sorry, think it's my pc. Have had mail from Stoppin and BL and the stupid thing won't let my replies through...sorry girls.
BL was going to ask you if you wanted to pop round today but A in particular is still quite snotty and wouldn't want to smite you or L as it's a particularly bad cold.
Stoppin - will probably not be in at weekend until teatimes - after 2 housebound weekends, I'm gagging to get out and about.
Thinking of going to Grandsmas tomorrow if anyone wants to join us...have to see how snotty we are though in the morning.
