dont get a chance to post as often cos still mad busy with wedding stuff etc..... 6 weeks to go and everything a bit hectic here xxx

jaamy · 30/06/2006 23:32

Aha...there you are!!!
Glad you had a lovely time at the squirrels, BL. We go quite a bit as my mum and dad and brother still live in Formby. J loves going as she always ends up with an ice cream!!
We had a lovely time in centerparcs but it's not really a place for relaxing so feel I need another break. Off to Ireland next week to visit relatives who haven't met A yet.
Six weeks, joec...wow...enjoy the build up to the big day!
Hope everyone else ok. x

biglips · 01/07/2006 00:04

oh gosh its not far now Joec - you will look gorgeous on the day of your wedding and even better the honeymoon is getting closer

jaamy - so youre orignally from Formby? as it was a gorgeous day to go too and gorgeous houses along that road ...im surely the neighbours thought i was trying to break in!! as i was really being nosey

OP posts:
jaamy · 02/07/2006 08:21

Yes, BL, from formby but not Victoria Road!!!!! We moved ther when I was tiny, no footballers lived there and houses were cheap!!! Let me know next time you're going and we can meet you there and then go for a cuppa at my mum's. The squirrel reserve really needs a cafe, don't you think?

Nemo1977 · 02/07/2006 08:46

hi all...good idea about new thread BL

jaamy hope you have a good time in Ireland.

Joec not long to go at all...exciting stuff.

Not a lot going on here..H is sick again with a chest infection that is refusing to budge after yet another course of antibiotics..sigh. WE are going to see my nan and grandad today as they have come back from spain and are as yet to see hannah so should be a nice trip. My grandad is 80 next week which is why they are back as a party is planned for him. Cant wait to introduce their great grand daughter and for them to see Adam again as it has been over a year since we lalst saw them.

julezboo · 02/07/2006 09:49

Hiya girls!!

BL we love it at the formby reserve, my aunty lives up there so we go quite a lot.

Joec - congrats on your wedding, 6 weeks isnt a long time when it approaches fast!!Good luck hope it all goes well for you!

Jaamy - hope you have a nice time in ireland, I would love to go there, think Ive only been once when i was tiny with my dad on a fishing trip lol

Mishi - sorry hannah is sick again. How is Adam and pip??

Things going good here. We are emmigrating!!! Only to south wales though, so busy trying to supervise the packing before DP goes back down on Monday night becuase he starts his new job on Tuesday, Me and Matthew will follow in a few weeks time. Im pregnant again, started my injections almost 3 weeks ago now, they worked, because although we had a scare on wed I had a heavy bleed, Friday afternoon I was taken to A&E ill, they did a scan, Jellybean measured right for dates at 6 weeks and he had a heartbeat!! We are so happy we have never gotten this far before! Still early days but its looking better already.

Oh and i agree, they do need a cafe at the squirrel reserve! lol

BROWNY · 02/07/2006 17:42

Julezboo, congratulations on your pregnancy, really got everything crossed for you that all goes well and good luck and happiness for your new home too - it must be very busy in your house at the moment. Where about in South Wales are you moving to?

We went to Speke Hall yesterday, you wouldn't have thought you were in Liverpool at all, it's like another world there, we took a picnic and the kids played in the little play area - ds2 loved the aeroplances and was amazed at how big there were as they flew over our heads!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and didn't get too sunburnt! Take care!!

joec · 02/07/2006 18:08

hi everyone,
had a lovely weekend, had a bbq yesterday to watch match and celebrate dd1 getting all 5's in her sats.....
went to acorn farm in kirkby with kids today ,
ds1 loves it there ...he loves the sheep and likes feeding the animals.
dd2 liked feeding he hens too.
look forward to seeing you soon browny.... can show you stuff i bought for the wedding

biglips · 02/07/2006 19:05

well abit of a hiccup day!! as all day yesterday the kids were in the back in the swimming pool (ball pool) DD loves it as her lips were so blue!! so i bought her in to warm up and more hot water in the pool to warm up... poor DD couldnt even hold her jam butty and neither SD!! it was funny watching them! LAst nite went to a bday party. was good and today my mother decided to turn up unexpectingly and said "Right we're off to Anglesey beach!" even though we were very short in time to get SD home for 5pm so we all went and GOT LOST all round flippin Anglesey - Dp was not impressed at the slightest as we were all hungry and we couldnt find the pertrol station before we ran out of petrol!!!! Anyway cut the story short = we never made it to the beach !!!! ive never been to Anglesey before and we just stopped off for 10 mins to stretch our legs - DD was not happy - then again we ALL was not happy!

on the way home we went to the chippy starved!! hooray!!

joec · 04/07/2006 18:33

hi ,

great seeing you and ds2 today browny.
cant believe how well he is talking now.
ds2 was made up to see him and cried when you went home.
meet up next week hey !!!!!!!

BROWNY · 04/07/2006 19:45

Hi Joec!!!!

Fancy seeing you here!

Really enjoyed today and the shopping, ds2 has been talking about your ds2 ever since we got home, defo see you soon! Needless to say, the tea was nowhere near on the table, lucky I'd popped into Sainsbury's while I waited for my train - so it was salad again! Just putting ds2 in the bath, he's covered in pizza!

biglips · 04/07/2006 19:48

glad you two had a nice day today ... i was stuck in today as nothing to do but its just one of them

been to bed for 2 hours and just woken up swimming in sweats as i was woken up @ 7am which is early for me so im ok now

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 04/07/2006 20:42

hi all
joec and browny glad you had a good day today

BL glad you caught up on sleep but know what oyu meant about the sweats...bleughhh hate this heat.

I went out with my nan, cousin dh and littlies for lunch at otterspool then a play in the parks. Was lovely although very hot and also had a lot of driving as dhs car had to go to a garage in warrington so was exhausted tonight. Also not sleeping isnt helping which is normal for me in early pregnancy but made worse by H not sleeping.

BROWNY · 05/07/2006 17:46

Hi Nemo and BL! I really feel for you Nemo in this heat, you must be shattered - how is your dd now? I've been trying to stay out of the heat with ds2, he's been really cranky today, he's got no appetite but at least he's drinking loads going by the amount of nappies he's getting through! I should be dishing the tea out now, but I can't even be bothered to think about what to have never mind actually cook it!

BL - why don't you try sleeping downstairs, I did that the other night and found it much cooler than upstairs

biglips · 05/07/2006 17:48

i ended up sleeping in the back bedroom where its cooler as our bedroom is like an oven on a hot day even with the windows open

OP posts:
BROWNY · 05/07/2006 21:07

I slept in the conservatory on our double blow-up bed - it was like going on a mini-holiday - and a lovely big comfy bed all to myself!!

Nemo1977 · 05/07/2006 21:19

oh browny jealous of you sleeping ina cool conservatory.
I am ok thanks for asking just shattered all the time. H is doing a lot better as her chest infection has cleared up but of course wheezy with the hot weather. Took Adam to see the wiggles in manchester today so he is in his element in bed with his t shirt on and feathersword by him..lol

biglips · 05/07/2006 21:24

nemo - aaaawwww! did he enjoyed himself at the wiggles show? was in town today with a friend of mine and everytime my friend said hiya to my DD she start screaming the place down!! she had never likes my friend - oh well, so all day she was howling!!! and she crashed out in her playpen @ 6pm when i got home and been in bed since 7pm

i feel for you Nemo about the hot weather as i was a walking boiler when i was pg too as i wanted to strip off... you wanna go thru the water fountion in town as i was tempting to do it but nnnaahhhh!!!!

browny - i slept in the bunk bed last nite - i felt like a little girl all over again!! and i had the whole big bed to myself too as Dp was too hot to sleep with!
im off for my bath as its calling me!
