Thought I would start a new thread as the old one is getting full.

Next meet up is on Wednesday 10th April, 10ish at the Durham Botanical Gardens. We will either be in the entrance or staking a couple of the picnic tables by the pond.
I will be giving Vikinglady a lift.

Am free this Friday if anyone fancies doing anything? Ds1 has a teacher training day and I WILL be taking a day off.

After a terrible practical today in which I could NOT hear blood pressure at all I have just purchased my own cuff and stethoscope. Anyone who wishes to visit my house will have to consent to have their blood pressure taken. I may also wish to take your pulse and add an extra minute on to the pulse taking while I stare at your chest do your respiration rate while pretending to still be doing your pulse so that you don't start breathing funny.

I'm always happy to get my BP measured - I've been pregnant so far so will probably faint when it has apparently shot up :)

(Just don't you do the same...)

Sorry to hear about eczema :(
And I did go to sleep at 8.30 last night, in a B&B bed :o DD was up for about 2 hours the night before, by 4.18am I decided enough was enough and got up (would have been getting up at 5 anyway) and so last night was very very welcome - I slept until 5.30!

You can take my BP as long as you don't break the blood vessels in my arm like the locum did on the one and only time I had my BP done Hmm

I was wondering if I had missed something ;)

Bloody washer stopped working Angry only 2 fecking months old! I think it is going again now, have an engineer visit booked for Friday (DH working from home so I can still come to Durham, yey!). But I think it is working again.
Need to check the waste pipe when DH comes home though as I think there maybe a blockage.

Boo to broken washer but yay that you can still come out.

I've just got my payslip. The difference in pay between my usual grade and the one I'm working in now?

£1.92 a day.

at least I won't miss the high life when I revert back Grin

Have fun folks, hope the wind blows those clouds away for you! I am launching an attack on work, going to some bf refresher training and then attacking again. By the end of today the essay will be done. By the end of the weekend I will be all caught up on everything and organised ready for the start of the new modules we are picking up this month. Only a month to go until placement!

Indith · 03/05/2013 18:07

Well done. Hope A gives you a bit of peace tonight so you can relax. Sounds like you've been non stop for a while!

Just ordered our curry. I over ordered just so I'd have leftovers for tomorrow and won't have to cook then either

Grin I like that plan Spiggy. Boy looks like he is feeding to sleep sp I may get to eat in peace before he wakes up again. I picked up naan and jar of curry sauce earlier and cooked my chicken when I did tea for the gremlins so quick reheat job and I have my lazy mare dinner for the night. May have to eat some vegetables tomorrow.......
