Hyde Park, Sunday 9th July (provisionally just in case any other events suddenly spring into their schedule).

So, who is up for it?

Hope someone's bringing a birthday cake...

hub2dee · 21/04/2006 14:56

I have a friend who hires out yurts. 5m diameter IIRC. Canvas walls etc. He steamed and bent all the wood himself. Don't know if that might be fun !

magnolia1 · 21/04/2006 15:24

poppiesinaline, course hun Smile

Who is coming with kids and who's not??

I am now thinking of coming without any kids as I didnt realise it was a Sunday so don't really want to bring them all. Although maybe I could lose a couple in Hyde park Grin

CristinaTheAstonishing · 21/04/2006 15:33

I'm definitely coming with DD (1 y.o.). depending on the football situation, I might also bring DS (6) and DH.

bl0ndie · 21/04/2006 15:53

Would't mind coming with my little dd (gosh if everyone makes it who hopes to, it will be huge!

SleepyJess · 21/04/2006 16:28

Am consulting another local Mner by text as I type. Yes I fancy coming.. but not on my own!!

I want to come!!!!

I got too scared to come to the christmas meet up so will be brave and come to this one....

(As long as LGJ promises to keep an eye on me and make sure i dont wander off and get lost Wink)

hub2dee · 21/04/2006 16:52

and where have you been Tamba ?

Grin

Welcome back !

PS - Could I please be downgraded to a maybe as we might well have dd's 1st birthday on the Sunday.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 21/04/2006 16:58

Have been a poorly Tamba but am loads better now.

Would be great to finally meet you Hub (although I find it so hard to believe that Camille will be 1 !!!)

Caligula · 21/04/2006 17:04

Can you please put me down as a maybe? I don't know what I'll be doing around then

me23 · 21/04/2006 17:12

hi, the idea of meeting sounds good on paper, but knowing me I'll chicken out as I can be v.shy meeting people for the 1st time. Plus with so many people there sounds a bit daunting errr so why am I posting on this Grin
guess I'm a maybe!

hub2dee · 21/04/2006 17:13

Hope you're feeling much better Tamba.

DW is saying she might do the birthday the Sunday before, but not sure... hohum. Despite enjoying the Christmas meetup a lot, probably wouldn't come as sole blokey, so you lot had better rope in some dhs / dps !

CHICagoMUM · 21/04/2006 17:17

Something seriously wrong with my eyesight. I read H2D last post as "I bet you lot have ropey dh/dp's" Shock .

bl0ndie · 21/04/2006 17:17

Could I be a definite? Am fairly new to mn but REally fancy meeting other mums (but like other people find it daunting as well :)

Posey · 21/04/2006 21:49

Will definitely bring ds who's 3 but may need to persuade dd who will be 9. Anyone else bringing kids of that age so I can encourage her to come along.

FastasleepInHerOwnBed · 21/04/2006 22:05

If anyone wants to fund my trip to London from Liverpool then oooh yeah... Sad

so many people on that list I'd love to meet!!!!

hunkermunker · 21/04/2006 22:08

(Just realised that at last meet-up, I had "being 33 weeks pg" as a reason to look like a big whale...now I have NO reason and I'm scared...!)

ItalianJob · 21/04/2006 22:08

fastasleep - if you were sans kids, you could get the coach up to London - sometimes they have mega cheap tickets - as cheap as £1 each way if you book early enough, but given it's about 4.5/5hours on the coach, definitely not a good trip for a toddler! I reckon I could fix up somewhere to sleep in the London area too Grin

CHICagoMUM · 21/04/2006 22:11

Hunker we should do a pre meet up diet thread Grin . F**k it, I've tried every other reason to entice me to loose weight may as well give it a go Grin .

FastasleepInHerOwnBed · 21/04/2006 22:12

Seriously IJ? Would my breastpump be welcome? I can do it in moving vehicles you know.....

OOOOH

I've never been to London!!!

FastasleepInHerOwnBed · 21/04/2006 22:14

Now, how do I post breastmilk...

spidermama · 21/04/2006 22:17

Yes please.

spidermama · 21/04/2006 22:18

Er ... that's yes to the picnic, not fasta's bm. Wink
