It's January and I'm feeling adventurous.....anyone fancy meeting up? Maybe in Crouch End or Regent's Park?

maomao, I'll email you privately. If I manage to go, you can come with me You've got a car seat haven't you? Will E or phone later.

Welshmum · 03/02/2004 13:18

I can't come on the 10th - I have to work on Tuesdays. Hope you have a great time - if anyone wants to do a trip to the Sobell on a Friday I'm still up for that - any takers?

Oh, it doesn't seem fair - after all, you started this thread. I suppose the thread will have to split now: Tuesdayers and Fridayers.

Posey · 03/02/2004 21:08

Ds loves the Sobell or in fact any social event, so I'm up for a meet up on a Friday as well.
Anyone have a zoo pass? We've had them since dd was small and there're plenty of inside bits at the zoo if the weather isn't too good. Anyone fancy that?
Of course you don't need a pass to visit the zoo, just we use them then you don't feel like you've wasted money if the trip isn't too successful and you leave after an hour or so

suzywong · 03/02/2004 21:10

prettycandles if you're offering to organise it please put me down for a Tuesday,

ragtaggle · 04/02/2004 10:20

I've (literally ) lost the thread of this. When are we meeting again? Tuesday or Friday?!

bundle · 04/02/2004 10:28

fridays are v good for me !

suzywong · 04/02/2004 13:49

The time has come to put yourself down as a Tuesday or a Friday .....
IYSWIM

I'll say Tuesday

Welshmum · 04/02/2004 13:53

I say both. I can't do Tuesdays so I'll organise Friday. Anyone want to do this Friday, 6th of Feb, 3pm at the Sobell centre?

OP posts:
bundle · 04/02/2004 14:10

can't do this friday, we're going to a birthday party

Posey · 04/02/2004 20:02

Okay, just to make it clear...

There will be a meet up on Tuesday 10th February, meeting at the Sobell Safari (aka Pirates Playhouse) around 10.45ish.

As several people can't make Tuesdays, Fridays seem like a good alternative, but as yet no definite plan, date, venue has been agreed.

HTH

Davros · 04/02/2004 21:41

Oh dear! Had to take baby to doctor today as she started getting a spotty face on Monday and today is covered (but still face only). Dr says it could be chicken pox or not........ strange as its definitely her face only. So I have to keep her in for a week at least

hoxtonchick · 04/02/2004 22:42

I am definitely coming on Tuesday 10th. Can do alternate Fridays too (but not this one)...

prettycandles · 05/02/2004 21:02

Suzywong, you're doing a beautiful job of organising us, I wouldn't dream of interfering!

See you on Tuesday - but where is it?

Davros · 06/02/2004 08:58

I won't be there due to pox, but look here

ragtaggle · 06/02/2004 11:47

Have just been asked to go to a tick tock session (Anyone heard of it?) at 11.30 on Tuesday. Any chance of making it later? If not, let me know what time Friday

hoxtonchick · 06/02/2004 11:49

we could go earlier, ragtaggle, say 10? i'd rather not go later as ds sleeps after lunch which is very precious to me!

suzywong · 06/02/2004 13:55

Prettycandles
Do you know the Holloway road?
If you do, it's round the back of Waitrose, the Sobell Centre.
If you don't email me and I'll describe it to you in more detail

See you Tuesday

hoxtonchick · 06/02/2004 14:03

suzy & prettycandles & anyone else, how do you feel about going earlier at 10?

suzywong · 06/02/2004 18:35

I can't as that is baby feeding time but will be happy to get extra attention and make late entry at about 11.
So that's three of us, oh Posey as well I think, for Tuesday is it?

ragtaggle · 06/02/2004 19:50

Okay - I'm up for ten o clock but will have to leave at 11. But it's a start isn't it?

suzywong · 06/02/2004 19:53

Yes it certainly is

Posey · 06/02/2004 20:51

I can make it for 10 I reckon, as long as ds is over the lurgy which is laying him low just now.
Will walk so he can sleep in the pram on the way.
How about we reconvene here on Monday evening to make final arrangements, check who's coming, and work out how we'll know each other (or do the rest of you know each other already?)

Posey · 09/02/2004 19:34

Anyone still on for tomorrow or will I be Norma-No-Mates.

suzywong · 09/02/2004 19:51

posey
I may be able to make it for 11 to fit around baby's feeds, but to be honest I'm having such rubbish nights with said baby that I may be too knackered.
Nothing personal, just don't feel safe driving when I am sleep deprived.
So if all goes well I'll be there at about 11
