It's January and I'm feeling adventurous.....anyone fancy meeting up? Maybe in Crouch End or Regent's Park?

Am trying to think of something witty to say but can't. So goodnight.

ragtaggle · 30/01/2004 07:40

I live round the corner from there and would love to come. My dd is only 5 months old though so may have to hope she's napping. What time on Tuesday 10th?

ragtaggle · 30/01/2004 07:40

That should say four months. Wishing the time away, clearly

Hello ragtaggle

10.45 -11 am on February 10th at the Sobell Kids Jungle Gym

It's official now

Of course this doesn't preclude any of the other suggestions on this thread but if at least three of us can get together then it's an official MN Meetup

PS Hope you weren't offended by my joke about Holloway.

ragtaggle · 30/01/2004 12:31

Good god no.I think the Holloway road still qualifies as one of the grottiest roads in London but hey it keeps the prices down. I actually live in Higbury but the grottier Arsenal end! See you on the 10th. How will we recognise each other?

suzywong · 30/01/2004 12:44

We'll be the only ones over 30 and not wearing pink velour sweat pants?
Seriously, though I shall email you and hoxtoncick et al on the third and issue guidelines

btw am not really bossy or snobby just very excited!

suzywong · 30/01/2004 13:45

Davros, Bundle, Welshmum, Posey, Prettycandles, August24, Pie, anyone else?

hoxtonchick · 30/01/2004 13:50

errr, Suzy, I'm 28

suzywong · 30/01/2004 13:53

then you can't come
you should be getting nail extensions and downloading PopIdol rong tones for your mobile

prettycandles · 30/01/2004 14:07

Date in diary - done!

Eeek I'm actually going to meet my 'voices'!

suzywong · 30/01/2004 14:10

Oh good PC

hoxtonchick · 30/01/2004 14:13

An OLD 28 SW.... My ds is 2 (today!) - he goes wild at soft-play...

suzywong · 30/01/2004 14:15

Happy birthday Master Hoxtonchick

hoxtonchick · 30/01/2004 14:49

He is currently asleep in anticipation of his cousins & grandparents coming over. We're having a party tomorrow for about 10 kids which I'm scared about. Have just had fun pouring 4 tubes of smarties over the cake though.

My ds will be in awe of your big-boy ds!

sis · 30/01/2004 15:57

Hoxtonchick, just popped in here to say what a cutie your ds is! hope the family gathering and tomorrow's party goes well.

hoxtonchick · 30/01/2004 17:36

Awww, thanks sis. Did you get my e-mail? They're bouncing on our bed now, total sugar overdose!

Posey · 30/01/2004 19:41

OOH how exciting, a real meetup at last. Its on the calendar.

Davros · 31/01/2004 11:57

I know it well, I go there every Friday to take my autistic son trampolining. I'll try to make it but my baby does like a sleep in the mornings. Shall we check back nearer the time to confirm?

suzywong · 31/01/2004 15:11

This is exciting, five of us now
Let's all get in touch on the third and I will call the Sobell to make sure it's an all-comer's session on the 10th, it would be a bummer to find it was booked or something.
Now I shall spend the next 10 days wondering if I'm actually bumping in to you MNers in everyday life. OO-er!

august24 · 02/02/2004 08:53

back from holiday, we have swimming on tuesdays at noon, but will look forward to the next meet up...

maomao · 02/02/2004 11:46

Hey all,

Is this easy to get to via public transport? (Sorry, I haven't a car, and I'm not quite sure where this is....)

Posey · 02/02/2004 20:11

Maomao - where are you coming from? The tube is very close plus loads of buses along Holloway/Seven Sisters/Hornsey Roads. I've got a local bus map so can let you know the best one.
