Anyone in Croydon??

Anyone mumsnetters in the Croydon area? I've just moved back here after 10 years away (only in east London but it's far enough!) and don't really have any babied-up mates around here anymore (sad, huh?!) Would love to hear from anyone in the area. I've got a 6-month-old ds and a serious need for a bit of a social life...

As far as I know I am still coming, but you know what its like when pregnant. Will be 37 weeks so if I try to rest well by day I will be there with LadyP.

Did anyone work out what name the table is booked under before SB34 went offline? Should I assume it is in her real name? The Commordore is on two levels (with the music being in the basement if I recall correctly) so not so easy just to look for the pg ones!

Oops...and then there were four! Moosh (my very pregnant little sis) cannot make it tonight, due to very bad backache. She really wanted to come, but I did tell her that there will probably be another in the future.

Had a great time, headache not bad at all. Have already made cakes and chicken soup this morning!

Well I did make it to the gym this morning but only just....

Comodor was a laugh - must go back again! Presumably we shouldn't disclose too much of the evening's events as SB has no access at present, and therefore can't defend herself! Nice to see you all - and we will get you onto the dance floor when you're no longer pg Metrobaby.

As I said earlier, I agree, it really does sound like your drink was spiked. Apparantly this 'rape drug'it is very common, and easy to come by. I think you had a lucky escape with just a snog! We'll have to see what happens in 40weeks? . Only kidding!

Don't worry - we can fill in the blanks for you! If you want to stick to the age of 20, I guess that that is slightly more acceptable....

Must admit that I feel "rougher" than I would have expected as I didn't have much wine, but as we were drinking from the same bottle I don't think that the drinks were spiked - (unless it was Metrobaby :0)). I would put it down to the heat though.

And yes, you were accompanied throughout, and delivered safely home.

It was very impressive - he was also the best-looking bloke there, and most of the evening was being guarded carefully by the other girls in their party.

I can confirm too that sb34 was delivered home safely as I was driving and LadyP & miriamw helped prop SB34 up . We all kept you in our sights too.

Although I feel really bad now for not coming in for your coffee offer sb34 afterwards (didn't realise you were feeling so down afterwards) - I'm afraid being pg and being up after 1am was just too tiring for me

Incidentally LadyP likened him to Brian from Westlife - so I reckon you did well.

PS Sb34 and miriamw - I am v impressed you remebered all the steps to the macrarena
