Anyone in Croydon??

Anyone mumsnetters in the Croydon area? I've just moved back here after 10 years away (only in east London but it's far enough!) and don't really have any babied-up mates around here anymore (sad, huh?!) Would love to hear from anyone in the area. I've got a 6-month-old ds and a serious need for a bit of a social life...

i;m in tooting - only 20--30 mins away. working f/t at mo but if all goes ok with this pregnancy (12 weeks at mo) i will be off from mid-april on maternity. already have ds who is 2 1/2. keep in touch and let's meet then??
ps where in croydon?

My DSs are older (nearly 5 and nearly 3) but I'm in leafy South Croydon

I tend to hide at meet ups and pretend I'm not there though

Hello! I'm in Streatham so on the borders of Croydon. My DSs are nearly 6 and 3, and I have a 2 mth DD. I can recommend a good Mum and Baby/Toddler group in the Shirley/woodside area of Croydon.

LOL! I don't think I'll ever be a beanpole but illness has lost me more than 1/2 a stone over Christmas. I suspect it will all go back on but it's nice whilst it lasts!

I'm in West Croydon - just a 20 min walk into the lovely Whitgift Centre So how about a Croydon New Year meet-up?

If non-beanpoles are allowed, then I'm in Purley with ds's of nearly 3 and 8 months. I guess Playtown in the Grants centre can accommodate the range, though there isn't much for the baby end of the spectrum. There's a mums and toddlers in Surrey Street on Weds and Fri mornings, but I guess it might be too young for any 4 year olds... The only place that I frequent (other than the Esporta creche) that would accomodate the whole range would be Tunstall Road nursery but that always seems to be full these days...

I'm in Purley too. Have one dd of just over 3yrs, plus one on the way Unfortunately as I work ft atm I can't do daytime meetups but can do evening ones.

Agree that it is time for another Croydon meetup though
