Anyone in Croydon??

Anyone mumsnetters in the Croydon area? I've just moved back here after 10 years away (only in east London but it's far enough!) and don't really have any babied-up mates around here anymore (sad, huh?!) Would love to hear from anyone in the area. I've got a 6-month-old ds and a serious need for a bit of a social life...

Emma/Lady P - would love to meet up sometime seeing as we're all so close. I don't drive so haven't been able to make it to any of the get togethers so far.

Yes I can be there for either 8 or 8:30. DS2 now off the boob - hooray! Gutted to be missing the Godstone meet-up now though, but DS1 at party then we're off to see SIL...

Guys, I can't make it now, so sorry - something's come up and we have to go to Wales for the weekend (DH's family) which means travelling down on the Friday night...I'm so disappointed as I might not make another meetup around this way before we move...

Hiya, I used to live in East Croydon (Oval road) anyone know it?? I'm now in Blackpool, so not much good for you lot anymore. Do miss Croydon though!!! (Oh, anyone in Blackpool for a meet up, by any chance?)

I used to live very close to there (next road of Cherry Orchard) from 92-02. Blackpool is a bit of a leap though.

I DID TAKE HER 3-4 TIMES ABOUT 1-1&1/2 HRS EACH TIME AND STAYED BEFORE SHE BEGAN TO GET HER USED TO IT. SHES JUST SO CLINGY, NEVER BEEN LEFT,ONLY WITH HUBBY, MY MUM 2 TIMES MAX AND THAT WAS'NT REALLY WANTED! MAYBE MY OWN FAULT BUT YOU LEARN AND NEXT ONE TO GO TO NURSERY AT LEAST ONCE WK!
