Anyone in Croydon??

Anyone mumsnetters in the Croydon area? I've just moved back here after 10 years away (only in east London but it's far enough!) and don't really have any babied-up mates around here anymore (sad, huh?!) Would love to hear from anyone in the area. I've got a 6-month-old ds and a serious need for a bit of a social life...

Haven't been to the Commodore for years, but agree tat it wasn't bad. Presumably not mid-week though - are we looking at a Friday night?

Have I been missing out all these years? Never heard of the Commodore ... I'd be up for another get-together too, Fri or Sat evenings then, I guess.

And if anyone is doing a day-time meet, I work every other week, so if it's my week off, I'm free!

6th is fine here.

6th would be fine with me except it's our wedding anniversary so DH might be a bit miffed. Mind you he's probably forgotton anyway and will be working.

I have to admit when I saw the date I thought "oh theres something familiar about that date" and it took me a while to work it out. he he he he he ha ha ha ha

I get paid that day so I could be up for it only........still haven't got DD onto bottles and I 'm a coward. I'll have to make a more definite decision nearer the time

Do you know, the way I feel about my miserable sod of a DH at the moment I might very well come and sod our anniversary.
I'd probably have better fun celebrating with you all than him any way.

Is it ok if I come too, I live in East Croydon and will come with LadyP. I have a 4 year old ds and will be 36 weeks pregnant. But don't panic I'm sure my waters won't break and if they do I am sure I will be in safe hands!! Look forward to it, can't drink though, what a bummer!!!!
