Pencil me in with a very soft pencil in case you have to rub it out. My parents get back from their hols that day and I think I offered to get them from the airport.....

Kidstrack2 · 15/03/2006 12:58

Bit too far for me, but will def go to another Glasgow meet-up in the future, have fun allSmile

prettybird · 15/03/2006 17:13

Sorry about that Kidstrack2 - but I'm sure there will be another Glasgow one soon enough!

So, we've got

gscrym
gomez
ja9
twiga
prettybird
mawbroon (in faint pencil)

Anyone else? What about Jambuttie and Loobie - Edinburgh should suit you and the venue is Loobie's suggrstion! Grin

Twiga · 15/03/2006 21:49

Prettybird me too please - sorry last post was prob a bit vague - I've marked it in and hope to make it.

prettybird · 16/03/2006 09:45

Twiga - you're already on the list! :)

Judebear · 16/03/2006 23:13

jude.

sammac · 16/03/2006 23:24

Slight mini hijack here- the lovely Aero is coming up to stay with me next weekend and we will be in Glasgow over Saturday lunchtime. We could meet for a coffee in Princes Square with anyone who's around. If you can make it , we would both be delighted to meet anyone ( and we're not hairy truck drivers- honest!) ( well I'm not !!)

Aero · 16/03/2006 23:27

cheeky mare! I can honestly say I will shave before I come! pmsl

sammac · 16/03/2006 23:27
Grin
Aero · 16/03/2006 23:27

last post to sammac (obviously)

prettybird · 17/03/2006 09:26

I'll see if I can make it to Princes Square Sammac - I know that you're not a hairy trucker, and I'll take your word for it that Aero isn't! Wink

With or without kids?

.... and can you make it on April 22nd?

jerry21 · 17/03/2006 09:43

I would love to come as I haven't been to a meet up before but I am too far up North.
Never mind, maybe some other time!!!!! Smile

prettybird · 17/03/2006 10:14

Where are you Jerry21?

You'll need to tell us when you are visiting further south and we could see about organising a meet-up somewhere convenient.

There are a few Mumsnetters in/arounf Perth and they havesuggested that we do one there.

jerry21 · 17/03/2006 10:18

I'm in Aberdeen.
Perth is actually quite easy for me to - well, so is Edinburgh really, its only a couple of hours on the train, but I would rather come down and stay overnight, and then get the train home the next day - don't think I could handle sitting on a train for 4 hours in one day!!!
The Perth one sounds good though!!!

Aero · 17/03/2006 14:07

Grin prettybird!

Aimsmum · 17/03/2006 14:15

ooh have missed this up until now!

sigh, my life has been taken over with DD's social life Grin

I can't do the Edinburgh one as we have my little cousins birthday party on that day, and I would love to come to Sammac and Aero's meet, but if it is Saturday 1st, then we are away on hols for the first easter week!

Hopefully, I will be fine for the next one! Smile

Aero · 17/03/2006 14:26

I'm coming next weekend Aimsmum, so it'll be Sat 25th March. Can you make it then? Honestly - I will shave my hairy trucker beard!

Aimsmum · 17/03/2006 14:30

Ah, I have my weekends all confused!!

Yep, we have nothing planned for that weekend so that would be great!

Although, if you are going to shave, does that mean that i have to aswell??Sad

Aero · 17/03/2006 14:36

Naturally! Grin

I'll leave it up to Sammac to arrange place and time - if she hasn't already! I can't tell you how excited I am to be visiting sunny Scotland!

Aimsmum · 17/03/2006 14:39

Fantastic, I will take it by naturally, you mean come as you are!! Grin

I'll wait for sammac to come along with the arrangements!

One word of warning, I wouldn't be expecting too much sun and i would pack a good few warm things....Wink

Aero · 17/03/2006 16:10

Actually - I meant 'naturally, you'll have to shave your hairy trucker beard like me!! Wink' pmsl! But apart from that you can come just as you are. It'll be lovely to meet you. Smile

sammac · 17/03/2006 19:20

lol at you hairy beasts!

How about 1230sh downstairs at the same place we always go to. Aero and I will be completely and utterly child-free( although may have a few carrier bags bursting at the seams :)) Please try to come along- you know what I look like, so me and a hairy trucker type- nah- she's really gorgeous Wink

ps don't tell her it isn't sunny, wee soul is wearing her bikini!

Aero · 17/03/2006 21:29

How on earth will I carry all my bags with no buggy??

Ooooooooooh - the thought of child free shopping sounds almost too good to be true. Can't remember the last time I shopped 'til I dropped without at least one little attachment.

So we'll be up with the larks then sammac to get a good few hours in before lunch. I'm lovin it. Grin

Aimsmum · 17/03/2006 21:33

I won't be able to be childless, would that be ok??

I will make her go and play in the mosaic or bring her leapster or something so she doesn't ruin your child free ambiance...promise Grin

we did have a fair bit of sun this afternoon (if you ignore the icy winds) so a bikini might well be a good bet!! Grin

Aero · 17/03/2006 21:53

pmsl - believe me, if I appeared in a bikini the entire city would clear in about 30 seconds!!! think it'll have to be my dear old jeans and a warm scarf 'n' gloves!
