Hi, babydales will have 3 small people, Woodybears will have 5 small people and Sunnybank will have 1 small person and one tiny, tiny person. Woodybear went to KK5 last Friday and said it was good. We are Wacky Warehouse people but are game for anything. See you all there.

not sure about booking as party.Think it would be too complicated. They need a deposit when you book, and then confirmation of numbers and full amount paid day before i think.Think it would be a lot of messing. What if people didn't turn up and didn't pay their share? Who would be the one to go and hand over a wodge of dosh?
Hate to sound like I don't trust anyone, just think it's too complicated.
Easier to just turn up on the day and pay your £2.50 or £3.00 and if you can't come, you won't be stressing .Do you see what i mean?

Or do I sound like a mean cow now?

We could still phone ahead and ask them to reserve tables?

No, actually I agree alexsmum, turning up is much easier, at least the first time we do a Stockport meet!

alexsmum · 07/03/2006 20:09

MerlinsBeard · 07/03/2006 20:09

Hmmm hadn't thought about deposit but we didn't need one on a recent monkey magic trip. We DID all know and trust each other tho loL!

ur right, just paying as we get there is better

bfcmdr · 07/03/2006 20:10

Agree with the turn up and see idea.

alexsmum · 07/03/2006 20:12

ds1 had his birthday party there when he was 2 and like i said we had to pay the full amount 24 hours before hand.
glad people agree.

Lucycat · 07/03/2006 20:14

No I've not done a meet up either, I think I'm going to have trouble remembering names - real and MN! then when I get home I won't have a clue who anyone is!!

MerlinsBeard · 07/03/2006 20:25

very nervous already! I have done an internet meet up b4 but i was 1 person that i got to know v v v well b4 hand

do we know how we will recognise each other yet?

alexsmum · 07/03/2006 20:34

no idea!
i think we should do something really silly like all wear a mad hat!
It'll give the people at the play centre something to talk about! 10 women turning up looking bizzarre!

threelittlebabies · 07/03/2006 20:38

alexsmum · 07/03/2006 20:40

OP posts:
threelittlebabies · 07/03/2006 21:17

I have too large a head- that's how you'll recognise me! Grin

threelittlebabies · 07/03/2006 21:22

alexsmum- have just emailed you

bfcmdr · 07/03/2006 21:32

I have a badge making thingy.
I could make some badges and leave them at reception so pick one up when you get there. Only MN's will know what they are for. I would put on MN in big letters. What do you think?

alexsmum · 07/03/2006 21:38

fab idea!
3lb-have just e-mailed you back!

MY little boy has red hair and looks about 3.5 but is 2 and will be screaming mummmmmyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and I will also have hold of a 3mth old with brown hair and probably a dummy stuck in like maggie from the simpsons..lol Also of course biggest give away will be my scouse accent..pmsl

I was going to say that about myself (fat!) Cannot shift weight or stop eating, am so hungry all the time. Feel most attractive at the mo. Had passport photos taken today. Had hair up, and fondly imagined I looked young and, well, okish. Did not- looked like a convict. A fat one Grin

nemo1977 · 07/03/2006 22:41

aww 3LB dont worry I will make you feel like a supermodel with my bedraggled appearance...pmsl

I am bringing alliwannado with me. As long as her DD is better as she has chickenpox at the min.

alexsmum · 07/03/2006 22:45

OP posts:
nemo1977 · 07/03/2006 22:46
