threelittlebabies · 04/03/2006 11:53

hi am, hope the party goes well! Saw you posted late last night when I was still up, so thought I'd check if you were still about to chat!

Is ds excited? Silly q! What has he had for his birthday?

bfcmdr · 04/03/2006 17:55

Hi, Can we come too, we are Babydales, Woodybears and Sunnybank. I am a regular under babydales and bfcmdr and the other two are newcomers although we generally log in together. Anyway we are childminders in Stockport, We are easily recognisable as we have loads of kids and generally look harrassed.I am the one in the raspberry coloured top and the blue fleece.

threelittlebabies · 04/03/2006 18:54

Of course! (alexsmum started this thread but am sure she is busy today, and won't mind me being bossy and taking over BlushGrin)

The more the merrier, see you all then. I have been doing the rounds of looking for a childminder recently and wonder if I have spoken to any of you?!!

bfcmdr · 04/03/2006 20:27

Which area of Stockport are you in?

threelittlebabies · 04/03/2006 23:03

cheadle hulme

alexsmum · 04/03/2006 23:50

OP posts:
threelittlebabies · 05/03/2006 00:07

I'm here, did I miss you??!

bfcmdr · 05/03/2006 08:15

threelittle babies. Have a read of my ofsted report if you are still looking for a minder and we can chat later.
www.ofsted.gov.uk then go to childminders in step 1 and type in SK5 8AD in step 2 and mine is the one at the top starts with a 3 and ends with a 3

Lucycat · 05/03/2006 10:00

I've just had a nosey at your Inspection report - it's absolutely fantastic!! If I needed a childminder then I'd be on to you in a shot!!

Looking forward to meeting you on the 17th. Do we have a definate list yet of who'll be there or is it still a bit up in the air? Smile

alexsmum · 05/03/2006 18:10

just bumping this in case anyone is around and wants to chat

OP posts:
Lucycat · 05/03/2006 18:26

dh is watching the dd's in the bath, I'm supposed to be checking eBay!! but I 'll be around later on.

What area of Stockport do you live in alexsmum? are you a 'native'?

alexsmum · 05/03/2006 18:51

no not a native.ended up here because of dh's job.we were living in london and wanted to move north to be nearer my family and stockport was the place he got a transfer to. been here quite a long time now,but i still don't think of it as being totally home iyswim.
what about you lucy?

OP posts:
Lucycat · 05/03/2006 19:35

Yep, I'm a native, went away to Uni, came back skint and just stayed, both dh's and my family are here though, so great for babysitting!!

Lucycat · 05/03/2006 19:36

Oh and Lucy really is the cat!

I'm Catherine really Grin

gigwig · 05/03/2006 20:21

Hi, why don't we get them to reserve a table for us and then one of us brings a small sign with MN on it that we put on the table. I've never been on a meet either!

alexsmum · 06/03/2006 09:26

that seems like a good idea gigwig. maybe we could also wear a sticker each with our mumsnet name on-that would make us easy to spot!

OP posts:
Lucycat · 06/03/2006 12:02

Here's where I'm so glad I didn't call myself 'stinkybum' or 'pooeynappy'!! Grin not that either of those were an option of course! Grin

MerlinsBeard · 06/03/2006 20:16

shall we get an idea of numbers and ring them to let them know? maybe they will throw in some juice or something. maybe book as a party if it works out cheaper?

Anyone who needs more info \link{http://www.eatandplay.co.uk/restaurant_info.asp?RID=27\have a look here}

threelittlebabies · 06/03/2006 21:22

Good idea mom- as it's £3 just to play, and we will be there around lunch time, may as well book as party and get food too! What does everyone else think? And might they want a deposit? Might be a bit tricky if we're not sure everyone is definitely coming.

List of who I think is coming (which may not mean much!)

alexsmum
threelittlebabies
gigwig
giraffeski
mummytosteven
nemo1977
mumofmonsters

gigwig · 07/03/2006 08:53

Hello
that is a good idea to book as party and get food. Are you OK to do that, threelittlebabies ? I don't mind doing it if not.
I have one DS.Anyway chat later.

nemo1977 · 07/03/2006 09:03
