ok someone would have tpo give me very very very clear directions..lol Would be coming from liverpool but I may risk the train rather than drive..although both are a challenge for me with poor direction skills etc..lol

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 22:41

its right in the town centre not far from the station at all.

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 22:50

feel all silly and giggly now 3babies!

mummytosteven · 20/02/2006 22:52

train? train ? I didn't think you did public transport, Nemo

It's dead easy, it's an hour's journey on the Norwich train that goes at 52 past every hour from Lime St;.

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 22:53

mts and nemo could come together!
mts, how on earth are you going to manage getting seven kids on the train?

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 20/02/2006 22:55

pmsl mts i dont usually do public transport but think it would be easier and ds would love it. does that train go via roby station at all???

threelittlebabies · 20/02/2006 22:56

alexsmum- me too! at seven kids on train, obviously need to get out more!

Nemo, have just got your email, thanks. Will reply tomorrow, off to bed now- ds just woke up- and hope to see you on the 10th!

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 22:57

no- usually just warrington and manchester, although sometimes does widnes.

OP posts:
mummytosteven · 20/02/2006 22:58

no, unfortunately. It goes through widnes and warrington. if you go from Roby Station, you would probably have to change stations in Manchester - I think all the Roby trains go to Victoria usually, and the Stockport ones from Picadilly. The Picaddily trains go through widnes and warrington, or stop at wavertree technology park.

Nemo1977 · 20/02/2006 22:59

mm may be better driving then as would be as much of a trek into town and out again as it would to jump on m62..lol

I take it this is with kiddies isnt it???

mummytosteven · 20/02/2006 23:00

yes, given we seem to be going to a soft play we might get a few funny looks without any kids

Nemo1977 · 20/02/2006 23:00

oh ok I didnt know it was soft play..besides think I prefer it to ds sometimes..lol

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 23:01

that wa sthe plan. someone couldn't do an evening one because of shiftwork.

do you think the play area will let us bring wine?!

OP posts:
mummytosteven · 20/02/2006 23:02

or we could swig vodka in the loos from bottles hidden in our change bags!!!

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 23:04

god i used to do that.my friend and i used to go to the cabin in liverpool and take evian bottles full of vodka.we'd buy tonic waters all night and leave wrecked!
those were the days!

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 20/02/2006 23:06

oh god the kabin..last time I went there I fell down the stairs some poor bloke tried to save me and got a mouthful of abuse..it was my hen night

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 23:08

it has lovely toilets doesn't it??

OP posts:
mummytosteven · 20/02/2006 23:08

last time I was at the Kabin I was trying to dissuade my friend from going off to spend the night with this dodgy bloke she had just met, and dodgy bloke's friend called me a bitch

alexsmum · 20/02/2006 23:09

sounds about right

OP posts:
gigwig · 21/02/2006 09:06

Hi,
Great - will be there on the 10th. What time's best? How do we recognise each other!!

Went to Funizuz yesterday, went to the new one in Chorlton the other week, getting into play centres these days!.....

mummytosteven · 21/02/2006 09:09

11.15 a.m. OK?

There's a photo of me in the depths of the Member Profiles topic, but I'm now about 1.5 stone heavier than that

alexsmum · 21/02/2006 09:53

11.15 sounds good.will that tie in with your train getting in mts?

OP posts:
mummytosteven · 21/02/2006 10:00

yes, my train should get in about 10.55, so I'm allowing plenty of time for any train delays/finding the place

fastasleep · 21/02/2006 10:02

Is Stockport near Liverpool then MTS and Nemo? LOL!

fastasleep · 21/02/2006 10:04

Heck an hour...when is it?

giggles to self at the thought of all the Liverpool ladies turning up for no apparent reason
