STOCKPORT meet up

picking up from a thread yesterday, how about a stockport meet-up.

i may be a possible if it's a meetup in Central Stockport (easy train ride from Liverpool)but probably not if it's anywhere more far flung.

i would like it to be centralish.giraffeski was talking about macclesfield but that wouldn't really be feasible for me as i don't drive and to get to macclesfield on public transport, have the meet up and get back for picking up ds1 from school would be a struggle.

Central Stockport's fine with me. I don't know it well so don't know where. I know there is that play centre K2 or somethin like that, but haven't been there. Monday or Friday would be best for me as I work Tue-Thur. Shall we fix a date for the next month or so? What suits everyone?

Will definitely come. Fridays better for me, as ds in nursery mondays. Am happy to go to kk5, or whalearound in reddish or rumble in the jungle down the a6 if you prefer. MTS- don't worry about getting there, can always pick you up from station

I'll keep an eye on this in case we can join in (gulp) as I'm from Stocky - though it's 60-odd miles from home now. I heard Whalearound is good and have just looked up KK5 on tinternet and it looks great. I wish we had something like that in my town

ooh it s so nice there.really big and bright and clean.and you can sit and have nice coffe while being able to have a clear view of the play area. and no whiff of smelly feet like the wacky warehouse(shudder)

central stockport is fine, i am another nondriver but only in hazel grove so not a prob getting there. will have the 2 preschoolers tho that ok? don't think DP would cope if i left one home!!!

Ok, KK5 it is then. Incidentally, went to a party there before xmas (I know how to live, me!) and it was really good. Friday am would be better for me too. Does anyone know if KK5 does food?

How is Mar 10th for everyone? Just a suggestion, will fit in with the rest. alexsmum- whereabouts are yo, if you don't mind me asking?
