don't be, it's all a facade, am sat in living room surrounded by heaps of toys and general crap, whilst prioritising chatting on MN! Blush Will look forward to next week then.

threelittlebabies · 16/03/2006 21:51

hey alexsmum, it's pirate week at the nursery next week, I have to take ds on the bus dressed up as captain hook!! BlushGrin

Nemo1977 · 16/03/2006 21:54

I was saying who was poorly???????? MTS???????

mancmum · 16/03/2006 21:55

think I will go anyway as had booked day off work and won;t be able to make next week -- want to see what KK5 is like so will go ... I will be one chasing round dd who will be saying "Why can't we go to head over heels like we always do!!"

Shame I won't get to meet most of you -- but hope it goes better and healthier for everyone next week!

alexsmum · 16/03/2006 21:58

nemo ! you were saying you were feeling really rough and i told you to have chippy tea!!!

Up to now we,thats Babydales, Woodybears and Sunnybank, will probs still go tommorrow and again next week as we usually go to a wacky on a friday morning so its a change for us. And just to trial them out we will wear our MN badges tommorrow so it wont be too much of a shock when loads of people all wear them next week. They could become a hot fashion accessory, you never know.

Nemo1977 · 16/03/2006 22:03

lol AM yes I am rough but I still would have come due to the hyper toddler..lol
It is my throat mainly and a cold but nothing too horrendous

threelittlebabies · 16/03/2006 22:03

Oh good, so mancmum there will be someone there, and maybe lucycat, dyzzidi and others who have not yet seen this thread. you will all go next week won't you? [worried emoticon]

alexsmum · 16/03/2006 22:05

of course what we should do is leave all the snotty, sneezy, rashy kids at home and have a wine fuelled adults only meet- up.

OP posts:
bfcmdr · 16/03/2006 22:06

Right got to go now so will see those who are coming tommorrow and the rest of you next week.

alexsmum · 16/03/2006 22:07

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 16/03/2006 22:07

Alexsmum in my case that would still count me out...dont think you would appreciateme sending the non snotty 2yr old as a stand inGrin

alexsmum · 16/03/2006 22:09

but we can handle snotty adults! at least you wouldn't let it gather round your nose and then offer to kiss us all!!!!!

OP posts:
Lucycat · 16/03/2006 22:12

Ok, I'll be there. I'm off back to my glass of wine so turning the 'puter off, nighty night and see some of you tomorrow. Smile

threelittlebabies · 16/03/2006 22:12

Hey, how much weight do you think I can lose by next week? Wink Knowing my luck ds will want to come dressed as Capt Hook after being him all week! Blush At least I'll be easily identifiable!

threelittlebabies · 16/03/2006 22:14

Heard from nhs direct yet am? Feeling left out now, own fault, but would feel guilty if didn't take dd to get checked out, maybe I will be finished in time?

Nemo1977 · 16/03/2006 22:15

lol AM ds hates having a snotty nose so is abit of a tissue fiend so am sure you will like himGrin

alexsmum · 16/03/2006 22:16

no they still haven't phoned back.ds2 meanwhile is fast asleep in bed.hmmm.
you have to get ear things checked out-you don't want her to be bad over the weekend.

OP posts:
alexsmum · 16/03/2006 22:17

good nemo.that's what i like to hear! ds2 isn't bad i've got to say.
i handed him a duster the other day and said'are you going to help me' and he promptly wiped his nose with it!

OP posts:
threelittlebabies · 16/03/2006 22:20

exactly. She's been such a delight the last few days, poor thing, really cranky. Was going to see how she went, but told my mum and she put the frighteners on me. Are you going to decide in the morning? Wish I could get dr to come out- which I think they should for poorly babies- but as I had to go to the surgery 1 WEEK Shock after my section, and that with the midwife phoning to request a home visit, I don't fancy my chances

alexsmum · 16/03/2006 22:24

my surgery has a sign up saying home visits are for terminally ill and house bound. we have never had one.it's not on really is it.having to drag them out in this weather.
i can't believe nhs direct haven't phoned back.8pm we phoned.
