would not worry about illness we have all been through it ... just make sure they are feeling up for the trip out... or how about plan B leave kids sick or not with someone else and we all go to the pub!

not being horrible- but please don't bring a sick kid!
ds has been ill on and off since christmas and was in hospital the week of valentines day with gastroenteritis-on a drip. I couldn't cope if he came down with something again!

looking grim here, ds2 still poorly and dp started with it today. DS1 a bit iffy and i don't feel great now either :(

hi all

Well its obviously the bug is doing the rounds as I am feeling grotty again and DS is fast asleep on the couch after he told me his head hurtSad.
Took DD to hv yesterday as she has quite bad reflux and infant gaviscon isnt helping so got to see gp on thurs to ask for something else and also as she has bad excema which is now a little bit infected as she keeps scratching at it even with her mittens on..poor baby.
Oh well we are confined to the house today so no baby massage classSad However I realllly enjoyed my first night alone in the bed..I realised it has been over 10yrs since I had a double bed to myself..it was bliss.

we're still in the house of the plague today. ALL of us are ilL! well ds1 is ok actually just one incident y'day. ds2 back in bed Sad hopefully we will be ok soon and able to come on Friday!

What is the suggested wait after D &V b4 u should "mingle"?

oh nem, i feel so sorry for your little one.my ds2 used to have eczema like that on his face.it was infected ALL the time.he's be ok as long as he was on anti-biotics but as soon as he came off them it would start all over again.
bummer.

Yes, it's really tough when they have eczema, Alex was the same - kept scracthing even with wearing mittens, I was looking at some old photos of him when he was few months old and was upset to see how red and inflamed his face was. It does get better though. Alexsmum - my DS is called Alex too!

Hope you're better for Friday.

I am still hoping to be there on friday. I feel rough but Ds has announced that his head is better so will see what happens. Still a few days to go.Grin

Nemo I am really looking forward to it.

I live in Salford and might have to go into work on friday morning but have told them Ihave a doctors appointment so i can make the meetup.

They have a cheek asking me to go in anyway maternity leave doesn't end for another two months!
