check your email - have just sent you a message.

franch · 15/07/2006 08:42

Hasn't arrived yet - I'll check again in a bit. Had promised DD1 a trip to library this AM and she's gone and remembered - would you be ok to meet there? Otherwise a brief meet-up in playground? it's Clapham Library - Old Town

Sorry you've not got the message yet.

This am is not good for me - but I'm around from about 2:00 onwards. Is this OK for you?

I'm happy to come and meet anywhere in Clapham. I'm in balham so it's not far at all.

Otherwise another time? Work Full time but w/e are often good - not next w/e though but w/e after?

sandradee · 15/07/2006 08:58

Just seen this note in the sending messages bit
"If you send a request outside normal working hours in the UK, please remember that we may not see it until the next working day"

Possibly why you've not got my message?

Hi,
I'm based in Clapham Old Town with a dd aged 2.8 yrs and expecting dd2 in Oct. Since I'm just about to start maternity leave in Aug I would be interested in meeting up with other SW4 mums, especially since you all sound so nice from your postings! Dd would especially like to meet up with other toddlers as she LOVES playing with/copying at the moment!

Also dd is desperate to start ballet asap - do any of you know of any recommended ballet classes in the area? Are the Sat am ones at Clapham Manor School any good?

Hope to meet some of you sometime...

franch · 26/07/2006 20:34

Great news mamado

When would you like to meet? Can't do next week but may be able to do the end of the following week and w/c 14 Aug is free. Mornings best for us - Clapham Common?

Anyone else coming?

Not sure about ballet, wilbur may be able to help there. I know there's a popular one at the Contact Centre on Hambalt Rd. DD1 will be getting some ballet at Ark on the Park from Sept so I'm not thinking of separate classes for the time being

Thanks for the speedy reply Franch.

Mornings are good for us, but we do need to be home for 12ish for lunch! Still working 2 days a week at the moment, so could only make next Thurs am. Or the Wed or Fri mornings the next week. The Common sounds like a good plan to me.

I think the ballet at the contact centre [we do Blueberry there] is the same one as in Clapham Manor School so I may go for that one - thanks for the help!

Let me know what suits you...

mamado · 27/07/2006 09:19

Oops! Sorry just noticed you said can't do next week - sorry, having a serious case of pregnancy brain at the moment! How about wed 9th or Fri 11th Aug?

franch · 27/07/2006 13:41

Let's go for 11 Aug. We also have to be home for lunch around noon so 10ish? If you CAT me I'll give you my mobile no. and details of how to spot us!

Hope some other SW4ers can make it?

Franch - Sorry gate crashing to say Sept 05 mums are missing you hun.

franch · 02/08/2006 21:53

I still lurk mummyhill but it all goes too fast for me! Seriously I'm struggling with time-management at the moment and find ongoing chat threads really time consuming ...

I will pop back in sometime I promise - thanks for missing me!

Hi Franch

I did CAT you a couple of weeks ago but got no reply. Maybe you never got the message? Anyway, sorry to change arrangements but can we put off meeting up for a couple of weeks? I've got a hectic week ahead and we're also trying to achieve potty training at the moment so could do without any extra meetings. Sorry to mess you about....hope we can meet up sometime soonish...

franch · 06/08/2006 14:01

Agh, so sorry mamado, I did get your message and for some reason thought I'd replied - very stupid of me. Good luck with the potty training (we've just been through that ourselves), and yes, let's sort out another date soon - I'll email you with some dates for later in the month if that's OK.

Apologies again for being a bit cr*p

mamado · 06/08/2006 16:03

No worries franch. Look forward to meeting you later in the month, and hope we are dry by then too!

Have a fab August

wilbur · 07/08/2006 11:22

I could have sworn I posted on this thread about the 11th, but now I can't find it. Anyway, I might be around for a quick meet up this Saturday (although we're getting ready for builders and holidays so I might have to bail) If you're still meeting at the Clap Common playground - the one with the big sandpit, right? - let me know and I'll try to come along. Franch, I'll email you to get your mobile so I can let you know if I can make it.

wilbur · 07/08/2006 11:24

Sorry, FRIDAY, not Saturday, duh.

franch · 07/08/2006 14:59

wilbur mamado has postponed but we're still free this Fri - you'd be welcome to come round here again - I'll email you my mobile no.

Or if anyone else feels like joining us, we could just as easily meet in the playground

OP posts:
franch · 07/08/2006 15:02

mamado, here are some possible dates later in Aug:
w/c 21 Aug, except Wed
Tue 29
Thu 31

Any good?

OP posts:
mamado · 07/08/2006 17:42

How about mon 21st or tues 22nd? We can do either am or pm, but I remember you saying am was better for you, so how about am at the windmill playground?

franch · 07/08/2006 20:03
