We're moving to Abbeville Rd at the end of the month. DD1 2y, DD2 5m. New to the area - would love to meet some nice mums!

Blonde - franch emailed me about possibly getting together Thursday 15th in the morning. Are you free? I don't have an email or number for you so I hope you see this. I think franch is away right now, but hopefully she'll still be on for the 15th when she gets back.

TheBlonde · 03/06/2006 09:54

Hi Wilbur
Not sure about the 15th yet. I'm having minor surgery on Tues 6th and will be off to my parents for a bit so they can look after DS
I will probably be back in London by the 15th but will let you know earlier that week if it's okay

franch · 13/06/2006 16:41

wilbur so sorry I can't make this Thu now. Would really love to see you, and blonde. Have emailed - may have to be not next week but week after ...

Franch - I think I emailed you but I can't remember now. Still up for a meet whenever suits

wilbur · 27/06/2006 17:30

hi - I sent you an email this morning, franch (blonde, I don't seem to have your email, I'll try and CAT you). I can't do Thursday either but maybe Tues 11th? Things are a bit mad with end of term stuff for the kids and we're away this weekend, so I'm a bit headless chicken at the moment!

TheBlonde · 27/06/2006 17:35

Hi Wilbur - we're on holiday that week sorry.

franch · 27/06/2006 22:26

Have emailed you both

Hi

I've posted before but no one has ever responded - I guess I can't be very popular.

However I have a DS of 15 months and live in Balham. Often at a loose end at w/e - DH works a lot. Would be interested in meeting up for a coffee. Can't do week days as I work Full time.

If anyone is interested let me know

sandradee · 12/07/2006 20:08

You see - it's happened again. Why do people stop replying when I join a thread!

franch · 12/07/2006 20:10

sandra I was just about to reply! hang on!!

OP posts:
franch · 12/07/2006 20:11

... I was doing a search of the board to see if I could find any of your threads - all I could find was the SW weekend thread and I've posted on that re. this Sat. Any good for you?

If you look below you'll see this thread has been going since Feb and has had long dead periods - don't take it personally!

OP posts:
sandradee · 12/07/2006 20:14

sorry - It happens a lot on this site and although I'm not normally paranoid but this site does have the tendancy to make me feel like that!

Yes I'm around some w/e when DS is working and it would be nice to meet other mums inthe same boat.

I'm very close to Abbeville road and also Balham, Streatham etc.

sandradee · 12/07/2006 20:15

sorry menat to say Dh is working - I could be done for child labour if DS was working - he's 15 months!

franch · 12/07/2006 20:20

So is this Sat any good for you? I'm putting you on the spot now sandradee

OP posts:
franch · 12/07/2006 22:43

hope you're not ignoring me now sandradee

Hi Franch

Sorry got distracted by a game of scrabble - DH won but I'm crap and I actually got annoyed and would not play any more. I'm so childish sometimes

This saturday possibly - the reason why I hesitate is that I have possibly said I'd meet up with a friend but nothing definite yet and I'm waiting to hear. Can I come back to you tomrrow on this thread?

franch · 13/07/2006 14:23

Yes, let me know sd. Commiserations on the scrabble

OP posts:
sandradee · 14/07/2006 19:54

Franch - are you still up for meet tomorrow? Let me know.

franch · 14/07/2006 22:07

Yes, still free - not quite sure exactly where you are - is Clapham Common any good? CAT me and I'll give you my mobile no., then we can text, as it's getting a bit last minute ...

OP posts:
franch · 15/07/2006 07:01

sd, I just tried to CAT you but you've opted out. Will try to check my email again in the next few hours - CAT me your mobile no. and we can try to sort something out?

OP posts:
sandradee · 15/07/2006 07:54

I'm not very good with the email thing - I'll have a go.

Is afternoon better for you? Clapham common is fine for me. Do you want to meet for ciffee or do you want to meet so we walk on the common? DS is 15 and likes being free to roam - what about yours?

sandradee · 15/07/2006 07:54

That's 15 months not 15!!

franch · 15/07/2006 08:13

In haste sd - I was thinking of the playground near the one o'clock club - just off windmill drive - will come back and check email asap - morning is best for us!!!
