We're moving to Abbeville Rd at the end of the month. DD1 2y, DD2 5m. New to the area - would love to meet some nice mums!

Agh Posey but good that they're taking it seriously. Hope you're better - I've got a stinking cold. DD1 starts nursery in Sept (11th - day after DD2's birthday), 3 mornings a week. We've got a 'refresher day' at end June (good job she's got a long memory!).

Thanks wilbur :) Where's the bowling green cafe then? Blonde, you still on for Mon? I'll CAT you both soon. Anyone else want to join us?

don't worry, i don't know anything about it good or bad! Smile i'm sure you have taken great care with your choice.

wilbur · 07/04/2006 14:56

Are we still on for Monday? I am on for it, but I was going to bring ds2 with me, but since dd is getting over chickenpox and he might be brewing it, I thiknk I will leave him at home. Can I still come even if I don't have any children? Grin

franch · 08/04/2006 16:29

Hello Franch,
Glad to see you've settled in well and meeting more mumsnetters south of the river!
My DTs miss you though. We'll have to pop over one day and play in your garden.
Take care

franch · 15/04/2006 14:54

miss you too annietwin - DD1 still talks about you and your DDs loads.

Please do come over, any time :)

OP posts:
wilbur · 08/05/2006 16:06

franch - did you ever get my email about the music group? I sent it a couple of times and it bounced back but didn't after the last time I sent it so I was hoping it got through.

franch · 08/05/2006 22:03

oh yes I did thanks wilbur, sorry not to have replied yet, just got back from holiday in Northumberland. Am going to try Tumble Tots this week or next as a possible Tuesday activity as DD2 definitely needs physical activity :), but will hopefully give mini crochets a try too at some point - many thanks for the info.

Shall we try and arrange another meet-up sometime soon?

OP posts:
wilbur · 16/05/2006 11:07

Hi ladies, sorry to butt in but we live just off Battersea Rise my friends and i have a lovely time meeting up at "its a kids thing!" in Earlsfield. Its easy to park, foods great, lovely atmosphere and best of all you can book tables in advance. I'd fully recommend it especially when the weather is not great.

franch · 25/05/2006 19:46

ooh, thanks for the tip carefree :)
