Custy - don't worry - although I can fully understand your panic at having to trawl through the other thread. I can confirm that LadyP and SB34, and myself will be attending as I am personally bringing them along !

custardo, i'm very sorry, i will not be able to make it. think friend's party must be the priority as she has had such as miserable year. i'm so disappointed not to be able to make it again and catch up with people and meet new ones - i've so enjoyed every mumsnet meet i've been to. gnashing my teeth a bit, as a double booking is a rare event in our house, gah!

well done to you for organising, and please let me know if you think you may end up out of pocket due to my non-appearance - of course i will reimburse you as necessary.

have a lovely time everyone, sniff...

Dixie · 18/11/2003 17:05

sorry custardo.......... I was always a possible maybe but I really would have found it easier to stay over....but no one has said they are prepared to share or stay at same hotel (Don't want to stay alone). I travelling alone is a bit of a problem...I was going to suggest travelling with twinkie from new eltham as thats not too far but then looked into the travelling from new eltham to home & its looking difficult. Bear with me though...should be able to let you know for sure by end of week.......

TWINKIE...Have you looked up yr train times...what time do you expect to leave from new eltham & WHATS YR LAST TRAIN BACK...WHEN DO U EXPECT TO GET BACK TO NEW ELTHAM.....just few final ideas i have....my dad may be able to collect me from new eltham on he's way back from eve work depending on times...so then we'll both be sorted!!!

Dixie · 18/11/2003 22:01

Twinkie .....I've checked out the train times & a couple of my trains actually run through New Eltham station....so if you want we can arrange to get the same train & meet on the 1st carriage or something. E-mail me for further info if your [email protected]

twinkie, my route is as follows: jubilee line at North Greenwich tube station. I will change lines as necessary - don't know what tube station is nearest the restaurant. I will probaly prebook a mini cab to meet me at North Greenwich Tube station on my return - I live in the plumstead/woolwich area. It's sort of en route possibly, for you? Don't know if this helps you or Dixie.

sorry custardo, as much as I'd love to come (really enjoyed last years) I really can't afford it, sob! sob!. Just forked out £150 on new clutch for the car, now we've got to fork out for a new speedometer. I did try to find out if any trains come back my way late night, there is one about 10.00pm, then again about 2.00 am, but the journey would take 3 changes and about 10-12hrs to get back, it would normally only take 2hrs!

Once again I'm really sorry, let me know if you end up being out of pocket and I'll reimburse you.

Dixie · 26/11/2003 00:29

custardo...looks like you can count me in!!! Twinkie & I have finally made contact so I won't be travelling alone...looking forward to meeting you and the others again!!
