Hi all! Sorry to start a new thread but I'm on dialup atm so finding it hard to post on the old one as it's so long!

Happy New Year Everyone.

Mishi - course we blooming haven't managed to organise a meet without you to kick us all into touch . But how about having a meet up at Granmas at Hunts Cross on the morning of 23rd Jan 2005 (best after 20th as DH get's paid on 20th so better cash flow position!!)

Argh @ your bath nightmare! I've never done it although I have a whole list of much more dosey things!

Our house is a tip got to get it cleanish before Friday when we're going to visit the inner depths of hell, I mean my parents.

Thankfully I must've been knackering the kids with my energy recently, I worked till 3am and dh chatted to me (MEN!!) till 4:30am last night and was knackered this morning (have to get up at 6) but luckily the kiddies wanted a huge nap this afternoon and we all crashed out onm the bed until 2pm - BLISS!! So now I'm awake enough to do a big shift tonight Grin

Hope you're all having a not too boring Easter Holiday!

What's everyone taking that's making them Spring Clean?? Is it some kind of new herbal tidying up remedy... if so, can you tell me what it is so I can go and buy some - no-one is getting past my front door the way it looks like now and there's no point wasting time tidying up 'cos the kids are off school messing it up!!Angry

lol @browny, not taking anything MIL is coming to visit! Need to have a spring clean before she come sotherwise she will do it when she gets here lol Id rather clean my own knickers up haha

hello

it been warm today for a change! Spring at last maybe but it was snowing yesterday down south! - bizarre!!

ive just bought 47 items clothing for DD off Ebay for £12!! and it in Lincoln where i be picking it up this weekend cos im there anyway to see Dp's sis on fri till sunday - cant wait as none of them apart from Dps sis, uncle and DD's great-grandad hadnt met DD so she will be entertaining them as usual! Grin.. im now on the lookout for clothes for 7-8 yrs urgent!! for SD Smile

Well, I'm into my second week of the easter holidays and so far I've enjoyed having the kids off, the nice weather's meant that they've been playing outside with their friends and their friends have been playing at our house, so they've all been busy! It's nice not having to iron the school uniforms and make packed lunches every night too! The lie-ins of a morning are a very definate plus too!!!Grin

What's everyone else been up to???

Im here! We have mil over to stay since friday (phew shes gone home) I feel as though we have to be doing things to entertain if you get me. But still we had fun, the day she arrived we took a drive up to southport went to arcades (too windy to do anything else) Saturday we went to tescos and did a big shop then picked ds up from his dads. Sunday we did a egg hunt for matthew he loved it and go so excited. Then we went for a pub lunch, took matthew to soft play area for half an hour (upset mil) Blush

OOO we went the circus - 47 quid for 4 of us but it was great! mil pulled an hungerain man who fixed the raffle so we would win hahaha

Yesterday we went to toys r us and just chilled, too her home today and i camehome and did the washing.

How has everyone else weekend been?

We are off to hospital in the morning then blackpool sandcastle tomorrow afternoon :)

hi all
weve had a bit of a nightmare time here and I swear april must be cursed for us!!!
Fri I had to take Adam to walk in centre as he had a temp that wouldnt go down. Turned out to be an ear infection.
Sat at 3am had to take Hannah to the hospital as DH had been looking after her on fri and had left her facing the sun resulting in sunburn which then blistered up!!!!
Mon Dhs car was broken into which cost us a whopping £250 to get fixed as he had to drive to oxford last night until tommorow night.
Then to top it off last night someone stole one of our hanging baskets outside the front door.

So am a bit fed up and just been lurking instead of posting hence one major gripe and hoping it will now get better!!!

well we are back and im gonna have a lie down as feel so whacked out!!!

there were loads of kids piled in after we've finished using the pool - lucky we got there early

how is everyone? and all kids back in school on monday - bet thata a relief?!

hasnt been too bad though.
easier than i expected.....
spent a great day with browny and her family , kids all had a ball and got on great....
think her dd2 and my ds1 got on really well !!
maybe wedding bells who knows !!!!!!

Hello all!
Just popping in to say that I'm still here keeping an eye on what everyone's up to but just too darned busy to contribute. Pretty darn knackered actually. DDs are ok except that A has a bad chest at the mo and J has decided that she's not going to sleep thru. Very nearly cracked the toilet training tho...about time!
Hope A and H all better now nemo.
Well done everyone for surviving the school hols.
Lancs meet up soounds lovely but I thinl I would be promising too much if I said I'd go. Isn't it really far away?
Anyway, take care all - will pop in again soon
