Sorry to crash into your thread, but does anyone know of a cheapish hotel or B&B in Liverpool ? My friend can't find one for love nor money that will let her stay for one night on 18th March with a 12noon check out!

TIA and sorry again!

biglips · 07/03/2006 13:23

hiya mamag.... where about in Liverpool does your friend may wanna stay?

MamaG · 07/03/2006 13:24

Well she is going clubbing in Garlands so somewhere within walking distance or v short taxi ride away would be best :)

jaamy · 07/03/2006 13:38

The ibis usually has availability but think it costs £50-60. Assuming she's tried all the travel lodge, etc. Has she tried contacting liverpool tourist information? You can do a search on their website www.visitliverpool.com

nemo1977 · 07/03/2006 16:25

hellooo alli

was actually going to text and see if you fancy the trip to stockport. Could come in my car???????

jaamy · 07/03/2006 16:36

Hi alliwannado! I'm a relative newcomer. Only been posting on the l'pool thread since last sept/oct when my DD2 was born. So nice to meet you!
oooh, oooh, oooh! I've got a friend who has just moved from here to childwall (or very near it) and is finding it a bit quiet. She has a 2 yo DD too. Perhaps I could introduce you if I manage to sort out this coffee morning/lunch/afternoon?

alliwannado · 07/03/2006 16:43

hi nemo,
would have loved to but afraid im house bound this week. Remember the doc said DD had chickenpox 2 weeks ago and she only had 2 spots.... well last weekend she erupted with them, totally covered and in alot of discomfort so I think shes still infectious til at least the weekend...... which also means no sticky fingers for me :( (2 weeks in a row, withdrawral)
think the doc may have got it wrong 2 weeks ago. Oh well............
next time i will go def, have fun if you go..
I hate being stuck in the house.
hope your all doing ok, hows H, is she feeling better? sorry to hear A is not at nursery anymore.... give him time he'll be ok.

biglips · 07/03/2006 16:48

welcome back alli... Grin

alliwannado · 07/03/2006 16:50

Hi Jammy, yes, great....
I can meet as long as its a thurs/fri and occassional wed aft.
Look forward to it, I've been out of touch for a while because I was working full-time, so I am slowly getting back into the swing of things.... glad to be back at sticky fingers and seeing nemo etc.
where does your friend live? I'm off Taggart Av, not far from 5ways.

alliwannado · 07/03/2006 16:52
