threelittlebabies · 06/03/2006 22:50

Hello, forgive a mancunian for intruding on this thread! Just wondered if any of you would be interested in coming to the Stockport meet up, or is it too far? I know mummytosteven and nemo both said they were coming, and it would be nice to get a few more to attend

biglips · 07/03/2006 09:43

lol @ threelittlebabies - thanks for inviting us to go but its too far by train as got no car - thanks again!

rcvd an email off Jaamy - she is doing fine but her kids got chicken pox atm! and jaamy is full of cold but otherwise she is ok

BROWNY · 07/03/2006 09:45

Nemo - I can meet you to go to Grandma's whenever you want - as I live within walking distance, is this Friday any good to you?Smile, if not one day next week eh?

BROWNY · 07/03/2006 09:46

Biglips - thanks for letting us know JAMMY is o.k., hope little ones get better soon - we were worried about you JAMMY!

biglips · 07/03/2006 11:33

AND she painted for the first time - (everyone now say) AAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!!!... she loves it and next week it will be glitter ans tissue paper drawings - AAAAAWWWWWWWW!!!..

jaamy · 07/03/2006 11:41

Hello all!
Sorry I've been neglecting you. Have had really poo time with both DDs having chickenpox - A has the spots really bad at the moment - poor little sausage but J is nearly scab free now. So have been in quarantine for a couple of weeks (including A's christening which upset me quite a bit as numerous friends dropped out due to not wanting to get chickenpox). What with that and me having a stomach bug last week and a stinking cold this week have been feeling pretty sorry for self!:(
Don't atart back to work until 28th, Nemo. But officially ended mat leave now and just using up hols. It's gone so fast. I really hate the thought of going back to work - makes me cry just thinking about it.:(:( Feel that I'm a really bad mummy leaving A at nursery so young.
Sorry nursery didn't work out for A, Nemo. But look at it this way, at least you tried and won't be wondering whether he's missing out on anything. You have him all to yourself for another little while!
Sorry for the depressing post!
Hope everyone else and your los are ok.
Welcome workingmumnhs! Hope a little strtch of water isn't going to stop you joining in! I've got 2DDs - 25 months and nearly 5 months...FIVE MONTHS...where did that go????? And I live in Whiston. I've met most on this thread just once or twice and am looking forward to our next meet up.

Anyone fancy coming here for a meet up before I go back to work? I know it's a bit out of the way regarding trains etc but the offer is there...and don't feel you have to because I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself ATM! Biglips, I believe that you have some revenge to wreak on my carpet!
LTA x

jaamy · 07/03/2006 11:42

workingmumnhs - Did I mention how lovely weveryone on this thread is? Well, they are!

jaamy · 07/03/2006 11:45

Biglips - so glad L did ok at nursery. Makes it a little easier on you knowing she's having fun. Better clear all your walls down for all of those paintings and crafty bits she's going to be bringing home. I'm glad DD is only at nursery 2 days a week as I'd never have room for all her artwork otherwise!!:o

biglips · 07/03/2006 11:50

LOL @ the artwork as atm my fridge/freezer is starting to build with arty stuff from SD (7) so havent got a clue where to put the others atm!!

jaamy · 07/03/2006 11:55

We're having to get an extension just to fit it all in!
Forgot to say in all my miserableness that we had a lovely day for A's christening. She was perfect (and lurgy free at that stage) giggling and smiling all the way through the day, even when her grandad (retired vicar who shared the service with my parish priest) tried to drown her in the faunt!!! Was lovely to catch up with all the friends who managed to make it and I even managed to get a bit tipsy. Just waiting for all the spots to heal so that we can get an official christening photo.

nemo1977 · 07/03/2006 12:05

lol jaamy I dont mind treking alllllllllll the way from huyton to yours..lol

biglips · 07/03/2006 13:18

jaamy - glad you had a lovely day at the christening Smile.. ill try and work ut how to get to yours as you'll have to email me your address
