Nemo1977 · 16/02/2006 09:32

hello all
hope you are all ok! Semi busy day today
i have psychology so have to drop kids at pil then pick them up after and then have a friend coming over at 1pm. DH has his trial day at his potentially new job so am hoping that is going well as he will then be home evenings and weekends like 'normal' people..lol Rather than our 7.30-8.30/9pm so we can have something that resembles a family nlife if it goes well. So its 9.30am and I have done all my hoovering, dusted, tidied kitchen and mopped in there...can you tell my two tinkers were wide awake at 6,30am...who said plygroup should tire Adam out he just seems to have more energy like its been let loose

biglips · 16/02/2006 13:12

BROWNY · 16/02/2006 15:01

Hiya, had a lovely day yesterday with dd2 and ds2 in Southport (dd was off school with tummy upset but when I mentioned a trip on a train, she soon recovered! Got some lovely bargains from TX Max - I don't usually see anything that takes my fancy in there, but I managed to get dd2 a 'sporty' coat (seeing as she's 100% Tom Boy!" reduced from £40 to £10 and Rebok trainers half price too!!!

Just been shopping and must have walked about 3 miles, I'm just having a breather before I go and collect the kids from school!

biglips · 16/02/2006 15:05

browny - glad you had a nice day yesterday

yea about tk maxx - there are things in that place but cos its a big building it too much to take in! - i love the accessories in there - fab!

jaamy · 17/02/2006 07:47

Hello All!
J woke up yesterday in pool of vomit. How guilty do I feel? I didn't hear a thing. Has been very clingy and off her food ever since. Poor sausage. Must be this bug that's doing the rounds. Hoping A doesn't get it.
Hope everyone ok.
Browny, sounds like you had a lovely day shopping. Haven't been in TK Maxx in aaaaaaages!
Nemo - how did DH's day go. Fingers crossed he gets the job.
Biglips - have you heard about the interview that you had? Looking forward to seeing the new "do"!
Now, important question. Lacy white tights. Where can I get some for Saturday night??? Nah, only kidding...need some for A's christening. Seem to remember not being able to find any for J but she got christened in May so socks were ok. Bit cold this time of year. Any ideas? Tried all the usual M&S, Next, BHS, Adams, Tesco, Instore, Ethel's, woolies... HELP!!!!

biglips · 17/02/2006 08:12

jaamy - have you tried tj hughes? as they may have kiddies tights or peacocks as they have some.

no i didnt get the job.... never mind - thanks for asking and hope j will get better soon... nasty bug

BROWNY · 17/02/2006 09:50

JAAMY, I saw them in Asda the other day!! Go quick!!! lol

jaamy · 17/02/2006 11:37

Thanks for the tip, otherwise will try tj hughes at the weekend.
Sorry you didn't get the job, biglips - they obviously didn't fully appreciate all your talents. Did you tell them you were in the middle of co-ordinating a nocturnal expedition for numerous maternal networkers???? ie night out for a load of mners!

jaamy · 17/02/2006 11:38

BTW - J seems 100% recovered! They really do bounce back!

biglips · 17/02/2006 15:39
