Anyone else live in or near Exeter? Probably not the brightest question to ask at 3am, but maybe someone will reply during sensible hours

Plymouth. Near(ish). Quicker without the roadworks though.....

Im in North Devon, near Barnstaple....Exeter is about an hour away and I go there once a month to escape the rural life.
Deffo meet up sometime if anyone is interested.
School term time...weekdays during the hours of 10am-2pm would suit me...gives me chance to pack kids off to school and get down to the city and then plenty of time to get home in time for the Ds's return.

i am hoping to move to Exeter in a couple of months, i should be starting a job there in March. maybe if your meet-up gets postponed a few times i could be at it

would be very happy to get advice about places to live, schools, etc.

hi essbee!

will look forward to a meet up sometime soonish.

where should we live then?

we were thinking either of on the edge of Exeter itself or possibly Topsham. DP is into windsurfing so he wants to be by the water if possible. but not too far out away from the city as that's where our jobs will be. we also want to be walkking distance from reasonable primary school, shops, park, and a train station.

Hello, can I sneak in on the Exeter meet up. Like you Essbee I know no one and would love some adult company.

fennel · 04/01/2006 19:59

Somanykiddies are you new to Exeter too? how many kiddies do you have?

Somanykiddies · 05/01/2006 11:45

Hi Fennel, I'm actually in Seaton, so not a million miles away. Moved here in August but didn't and still don't know a single soul! As for kiddies we have 7 between us but only five living with us, as if that isn't enough for a gal who didn't want children at all!!!

fennel · 09/01/2006 09:18

somanykiddies, will look forward to a meet up when we move. i have 3 dds, which is plenty.

Somanykiddies · 10/01/2006 17:27

Hi Fennel, a meet up would be good, about time us south west bunch got together!
