I thought last night that it would be nice for us to meet up again soon, a lunch time ish meet with the kids (less organisation required that way!), or if you are lucky enough to be kid free for the day come along anyway! Maybe to see some of the lovely xmas lights around central London. Maybe if JL does have an ad hoc santa to see him too! I went to one of the Giraffe cafe/bars a few weeks ago, which I thought might be a good place to go? Not crowded, not overpowering music, smoke free for the kis, good reasonably priced food and very child friendly. Am open to oher ideas though!

So does anyone have any dates they can/can't do? I really enjoyed our meet up at the weekend and QueenVic is having a bit of a hard time of it at the moment and needs some cheering. Hopefully we will be able to help out and all have a good giggle at the same time.

Hunker is there anything xmassy over your way? I'm in the east (well essex) so have no idea whats over your way. Have to say was thinking more in terms of high street kensington or the like, but only really cause of the restuarant.

I dont know that side of london either really. Not that i go out much over this way either.

There's a shopping mall grotto in Uxbridge and the usual mall light-type arrangements, but it's not Oxford Street!

Will have a think and see what I can come up with. I realise it's a loooong way to travel from Essex! I'm able to get to the Met, Piccadilly and the Central lines relatively easily - it's just the other end I might struggle a bit. Covent Garden has a lift though - perhaps there somewhere?

I happen to be traveling back through London that day (via Tooting) if it looks like I might be around at the time you lot are meeting, may I pop by? I'd love to see you all again and meet lockets and starlover too. I'll be minus kids and on my way back from a spa weekend.

HM, Covent garden would be great, there is a lift, although some steps before that I think? I would be more than happy to meet you down there to get your DS up them if there is any. Bit of a pro now (although not in my heels!) How would you get down at the station your end though? Really do appreciate its not going to be easy for you, if I drove I'd come and collect you myself!

Flossam, mentioned your troubles today to my mum, but she said that unless she could see the exact documents and know all the details it would be foolish of her to comment, but she strongly suggested that you go to your local CAB. I can't remember where you are atm but she said if I find out she may know someone inthat one (due to courses etc) and could get in a good word for you so to speak.

Would be great to see you both Cad and Essbee. The more the merrier
