How about Coriander (bottom of Richmond Hill) for yummy Mexican food about 8/8.30pm then dancing for those that wish after either Disco Inferno or hike it up the hill to Bumbles!

Have I missed anyone?

chjlly · 08/12/2005 08:34

Morning everyone - Thanks for a good night last night - even if I did try setting fire to the place

I am going to spend the day in my office with my head propped up looking like I am working!

Hope you all feel as rough as I do!

SPARKLER1 · 08/12/2005 09:10

blleeeeeuuuurrrrrggggh!!! NEVER, EVER AGAIN!!!!!

catj · 08/12/2005 09:13

I'm not with it at all this morning and I didn't even drink! I reckon it was all those alcoholic fumes in the car on the way home .

SPARKLER1 · 08/12/2005 09:21

Thanks again for the lift Catj. And I apologise to everyone last night for my drunken behaviour. I can't believe I was pulling faces through the window. I forgot about everyone else in the restaurant. PMSL

ChristmasgiftCATJalogue · 08/12/2005 09:23

That's ok. I'm sure the other diners are entertaining their mates this morning with tales of the drunken woman at the restaurant last night

FlameRobin · 08/12/2005 09:42

I wonder if they took the picture down yet....

Quick word of warning to everyone though Either the baby doesn't like Mexican, I have a bug, or I had a dodgy meal - was sick a lot in the night, and feeling very rough today. I know I had dairy but that amount should have only made me queasy with a headache...

If it was meal based, I had different to all of you, so you should be ok... if its bug, I'm really sorry if I passed it on

Off to curl up and sleep now....

BunnyHem · 08/12/2005 09:49

sorry you are feeling crap Flamerobin - hope you feel better soon.

I feel suprisingly ok must be due to the massive burrito I had before necking the next bottle of wine

FlameRobin · 08/12/2005 09:54

Maybe I should have had a few bottles of wine... might have settled my stomach

Kittypickle · 08/12/2005 09:56

So it was a good night then ?!

SPARKLER1 · 08/12/2005 11:54

man I'm suffering today. Dropped dd1 at school and dd2 had pre-school this morning. Came home and made myself a huge bacon sarnie and a cup of tea (well it was going to kill it or cure it wasn't it?). Following that I went up and sat on dd2's bedroom floor and sorted out her clothes. Kept myself busy but nothing too strenuous. Wanted to go back to bed but I probably would have overslept and been late picking dd2 up. LOL

SPARKLER1 · 08/12/2005 11:56

Going to drag myself down to P&T group in a bit. Lots of screaming kids - Nooooooo!
DD2 is being Mary in the nativity this afternoon. Got her "pillowcase" dress ready for her to wear.

chjlly · 08/12/2005 11:58

Sparkler thats not fair I want a bacon Sarnie!
it usually does the trick but there is nowhere to get one from round here

I feel so knackered & have now go to cover the phones for the next hour too

Should have pulled a sickie me thinks!

ChristmasgiftCATJalogue · 08/12/2005 12:23

Flamerobin,sorry you're not feeling well.
The rest of you-what can I say-self inflicted springs to mind .
I've just woken up after crashing on the sofa for 2hours. Bad mummy I am for neglecting my children. As far as I can see they haven't wrecked anything and they certainly haven't inflicted any injuries on each other . Thank god for Nick Jr!! (Have to add I don't think I was asleep for all that time)
Got to go-they're now shouting for lunch

SPARKLER1 · 08/12/2005 12:27

Flamerobin - hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe that's what's wrong with me - I have her bug!!!! Nothing to do with the vino at all.

amynSAINTnixmum · 08/12/2005 15:49

Hi all - very tired today but surprisingly I don't feel ill Hope I didn't bore the pants off everyone with my constant talking - I develop severe verbal diahorea (that doesn't look right but my brain can't spell today) when I've had a few glasses of wine

GoldFrankincenseandMerlin · 08/12/2005 17:15

hi all - are you all still suffering?

Am so cross I missed it (and meeting you new ones!), but feeling a bit better today. Got both DS's poorly with the sniffles now though so looks like I'm in for a long night!

DG dropped off the deposit money - thanks for that.

Well I'm up for anothe night out before Xmas if we can squeeze it in

ChristmasgiftCATJalogue · 08/12/2005 17:27

Definitely feel better now especially as the postie delivered some chocs today. Hmm do I tell dh they came or shall I keep quiet and eat them all myself?

I'm up for another meet-up whenever. I shall make sure I sleep loads the day before-I didn't get home til 1am last night. I did enjoy the evening & it was nice to meet new people.

GoldFrankincenseandMerlin · 08/12/2005 17:34

I'd eat them CatJ. Glad you had a good time. Hopefully get to meet you at the next one.

chjlly · 08/12/2005 19:17

I'd eat them too! (but save me one)

I feel better now just a bit tired - had to bring work home as didn't get a lot done

FlameRobin · 09/12/2005 13:56

Just a quick stop for an update from me... sickness was gone by mid morning yesterday, but I have had the headache from hell ever since, so thinkin it is viral (Midwife appointment this afternoon, so I will get blood pressure checked too )

chjlly · 09/12/2005 13:59

sorry to hear your still not feeling great.

at least if you had been drinking you would have had a reason!

Frostythesurfmum · 09/12/2005 18:21

Hey you lot! Just catching up, PC was down yesterday. You wouldn't believe how much I got done!! Thanks for another fab night. Still giggling now at Sparkler's fisog pressing up against the window. Wonder how long my picture stayed up for.

Hope you're feeling better now Flamerobin and Merlin. And thanks for the lift Catj.

We3BungliesOfMumsnetTowers · 13/12/2005 16:02

Thanks for the message Delgirl. I have just sent an email to Amynnixmum explaining what happened, To put it in a nutshell two young thugs tried to mug me at the train station, I emptied my catheter bag out over their designer trainers and they then tipped me out of my wheelchair! I ended up in hospital for observation just for the night but the Police woman said that she would make certain that a message was got to you at the restaurant. I have just realised that you did not get the message....I am so sorry.
Now who do I send some money to, as I remember that someone paid a deposit and as I did not turn up I feel that I should send the deposit to the person who paid it. Especially as I managed to save my handbag from falling into the hands of two urine soaked thugs!!
I am really sorry that I missed you all but the 'puter modem has been 'playing me up' and so I could not get online to post a message until a nice little man came and fixed it this afternoon.
Please can we have a New year meet-up, as I am determined to get to one. Having said this I am away from 31st December until 16th January
I hope those of you who went have recovered and had a good time and those of you who were poorly are feeling better.
Thank you Delgirl for your message I got it when I turned my phone on whilst on the train, so I would have gone to the correct place.
How about 'Third time lucky?'
