Hi, I'll get a cab there Merlin as it will be a long way round for you and Bunny to come here. No worries, thanks. Hope your dh gets home in time. My neighbour has said i'm not to return before 2am as that's when they usually go to bed . So, it looks like i'll be clubbing . Can't get too plastered though as i've got SW and the docs in the morning!

oh and frosty, yep, that was the plan . Kind of backfired on me though.

I know what you mean. I went to my first MN meet up alone in Bournemouth. I didn't know anyone - actually tell a lie I'd met Bunny briefly for ten mins as she bought a pram from me. I couldn't remeber what she looked like. I walked into the pub full of people thinking what on earth was I doing and who was I looking for. It felt very strange. As it turned out everyone was really friendly and I had a lovely night.

Flamerobin I'm the same as you! I normally don't do things like this either! I've got my sister though (chjlly) to hold my hand just in case you're all really scary . It does help I know surfermum but I didn't know that until recently IYSWIM. I've got roof rails on the car so you'll be fine for the surfboard SM .
Sparkler- I'm worried now cos my name's not that common! I've got 3 dd's.Eldest is 10 and twins of 2.5.

Just spoken to Merlin and she can't make it sadly as she's really poorly with the flu, she thinks . Maybe when you're better Merlin we can grab a last minute night out somewhere, i'm sure a few of us will be up for it . Or, we could grab lunch at CP when it re-opens, which btw is planned for the 19th December apparently.
