Right then ....

How about Coriander (bottom of Richmond Hill) for yummy Mexican food about 8/8.30pm then dancing for those that wish after either Disco Inferno or hike it up the hill to Bumbles!

Have I missed anyone?

Merlin

Surfermum
Amynixmum

Actually is there anyone else who needs/would like a lift there cos I do have a 7 seater .Once you've experienced my driving you might not want a lift home though

SPARKLER1 · 30/11/2005 18:11

Hi all. I haven't been on here for ages. Been rushed off my feet with Mini IQ parties. I feel quite exhausted actually so a night out relaxing will do me the world of good.
I am posting but haven't read this thread yet .
Just spoken to Delgirl on the phone and she has given me an update on what is going on.
Is there any chance I could squeeze in with you guys catj? I normally share a lift with Surfermum on our boozy nights out. If there isn't room I'm sure Surfer won't mind being tied to the roof rack so I can have her seat.
Off to another party now - shall try and read up on all the going ons later.
TTFN xxxxxxxx

DelGirl · 30/11/2005 19:07

was just about to update this for you Sparkler . Good idea about the roof rack. Maybe you could stick a surf board on there and she can 'surf' home.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. Great idea about Corianders. In fact, that was where our 1st meet up was . This time, I shall be drinking though hooray.

chjlly · 30/11/2005 20:01

Catj - hopefully we will have had enough to drink that we won't notice your driving!

(how's the pushchair???!!)

Kittypickle · 30/11/2005 20:23

Hi everyone. I'm afraid I definitely won't be able to join you, I'm having real problems with my gallstone and eating out is sadly off the menu for the foreseeable future. Hope you have a lovely time and have a drink for me (because I can't do that either !)

catj · 30/11/2005 21:21

Fine re the lift sparkler. I've got surfermum's address now & I'm sure she can direct me to your place.
Chjlly, I love the pushchair & dh is really impressed! I want to use it but dt's are too heavy! Can I borrow your dd to try it out?

chjlly · 30/11/2005 21:23

I should think so!

It may cost you though

BunnyHem · 01/12/2005 11:51

KP, sorry to hear you wont be joining us I hope you get your gallstones sorted out soon - it will be a very sober Xmas fr you otherwise. There again you'll be the only one to lose weight over the festive period!

sparkler, glad you are coming

GoldFrankincenseandMerlin · 01/12/2005 12:33

KP - sorry to hear you're still suffering - hope things improve soon.

Bunny - shall we share a taxi? Oh and stop showing off on the MN style shop thread "Have you got any jeans in a size 14?

BunnyHem · 01/12/2005 12:36

pmsl my 16s are just falling off

not really - just hoping by lying on the floor and breathing in tight, I might be able to squeeze into a 14!

BunnyHem · 01/12/2005 12:37

bugger, why didnt my italics work?

BunnyHem · 01/12/2005 12:37

fallin off

BunnyHem · 01/12/2005 12:37

too much faffing about putting a ^ before each word

BunnyHem · 01/12/2005 12:38

yes, shall we share a taxi? I shall go to SW first - that's at 7.00. What time are we meeting?

FlameRobin · 01/12/2005 19:24

All excited... got a new sparkly top, and getting my hair chopped tomorrow . You can tell I don't get to go out as a grown up much .

Now just need to decide how I'm having my hair chopped, and I'll be sorted...

GoldFrankincenseandMerlin · 01/12/2005 19:30

Sounds very glam Flame - better dig out a bit of bling!!!

Bunny - table is booked for 8pm

Frostythesurfmum · 02/12/2005 12:31

If the last meet up was anything to go by, you might as well have tied me to the roof rack as I have very little recollection of a taxi ride.

Sorry you can't come Kitty.

DelGirlsRingAreYouListening · 02/12/2005 12:40

pmsl

DelGirlsRingAreYouListening · 02/12/2005 12:41

thats for the 1st sentence btw, not the 2nd!

FlameRobin · 05/12/2005 09:33

Right.... just to confirm. Meal is at 8 at Corianders (I'll work out where abouts that is later ). Is there a bar type bit there that we meet at, or a table... if a table, what name is it under (they might give me blank stares if I ask for Delgirl from mumsnet )

DelGirlsRingAreYouListening · 05/12/2005 15:14

lol. How are you getting there flamerobin, just thought, I think you're quite near me if you fancy sharing a taxi? I don't think there is a bar but as there are a few of us and it's downstairs It won't be hard as it'll probably only be us lot anyway anyway anyway anyway. Sorry , got carried away with the anyways! (Merlin, i'm a stuck record)

We3BungliesOfMumsnetTowers · 05/12/2005 15:37

Okay Dokey, can someone give me an address for this place so I can get off the train and into a black cab and tell them where to go? Which Station is the best? Bournmouth?
I can't wait I thought I might have to cancel as 'someone' may have been coming to stay overnight on Wednesday but they are coming tonight instead
Do Ihave to send money to anyone or do anything between now and Wednesday?
I look forward to 'talking' to you Delgirl, I felt I neglected you last week but I just ended up shouting at everyone due to the noise!
So could you tell me the full address and I shall arrive a bit early (excuse being trains, real reason so I can have some 'dutch courage' before hand!).
I can't wait to meet you all so see you soon!

FlameRobin · 05/12/2005 15:44

I'm not entirely sure what I'm meant to be doing yet! At one point DH was talking about dropping me off and getting a taxi back, then I was driving, and now I have no idea

If I am driving, do you want a lift (I will look slightly like a bunny caught in the headlights when you first get in )? Probably won't be about late, but it would save the taxi fare there, if not back.

We3BungliesOfMumsnetTowers · 05/12/2005 15:47

Very kind offer, thank you but I do not even know what station I am going to yet or what time the train is. To be honest due to the wheelchair it is often easier to get a cab. But a BIG thank you. XX

DelGirlsRingAreYouListening · 05/12/2005 16:16

Hi BUngle, I think you'd be best going to Bournemouth. The restaurant is Corianders on Poole Hill, near or on the Triangle. The cab driver will know i'm sure. No money needed until the night ( I think that's right, isn't it Merlin?) And, you didn't neglect me at all, it was hard to talk with the music . Look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday.

Flamerobin, that would be great if you are but only if you're near. I'm in Throop, quite near to CP.
