*Sheffield Spa* - Feb 2006. Anyone want to come?

Know this is well in advance but you knoow how this books early!

It is my birthday in February and my sister has suggested going to the Spa on the Saturday either before or after it - probably 11th or 18th.

For anyone knot been before nearby it is Spa 1877 in Sheffield city centre. It costs £20 for a 3 hour Spa session, although there are optional extras like mud wraps and scrubs if you want it. Not tried any of those yet.

The Spa has 7 experiences - 4 hot and 3 cold, inlcuding tropical shower, steam room, ice cave, aromotheraphy steam room, sauna, and a plunge pool. There is also the Hamman in the centre. And outside the Spa is the relaxation room serving complimentary drinks.

Saturdays are women only days. And don't worry - you wear swim suits And you get a dressing gown and slippers, plus towels, to use too.

I would probably need to think of booking this by the end of December if not earlier.However I don't think you actually have to pay in advance, but they do take your name and contact number (or address).

Is anyone interested?

Shall we provisionally say the 11th, and I will phone up and make sure they can do it? That is the day before my birthday

So I saw jamiesam; congratulations!!!! Really pleased for you I hear they do good bump massages and the likes - ask Katzguk, she did the no Spa bit a few times!!!

Jamiesam i can vouch for the bump massage being good, was very nice to be pampered and to relax

I am off tot he Spa on Sunday to have my hair done so I shall ask then.

There is definitely availabiliy on Sat 11th Feb - any time. I was thinking maybe 3-6pm might be good, then if anyone wants they can go out for a drink or a bite to eat afterwards.

However, we would need to think about booking this sooner rather than klater.

You just have to sign up at the moment, and send me your real name (unless you want booking under your MN name) and address, or contact number. You then pay on the day.

For those who haven't been before there is a short medical type questionnaire to complete, as with all spas. If I have your address I can post these out to you to complete and bring back.

Right I have booked the Spa for 10 people so far on Saturday 11th February at 3-6pm. I can add/reduce numbers and/or treatments until quite close, but obviously the earlier the better.

Nearer the time I will need people's names and addresses to give to the Spa. It is much easier for them to have these in advance or it takes ages on the day to enter everyone into the system.

So put it in your diaries!
