Know this is well in advance but you knoow how this books early!
It is my birthday in February and my sister has suggested going to the Spa on the Saturday either before or after it - probably 11th or 18th.
For anyone knot been before nearby it is Spa 1877 in Sheffield city centre. It costs £20 for a 3 hour Spa session, although there are optional extras like mud wraps and scrubs if you want it. Not tried any of those yet.
The Spa has 7 experiences - 4 hot and 3 cold, inlcuding tropical shower, steam room, ice cave, aromotheraphy steam room, sauna, and a plunge pool. There is also the Hamman in the centre. And outside the Spa is the relaxation room serving complimentary drinks.
Saturdays are women only days. And don't worry - you wear swim suits And you get a dressing gown and slippers, plus towels, to use too.
I would probably need to think of booking this by the end of December if not earlier.However I don't think you actually have to pay in advance, but they do take your name and contact number (or address).
