It'll be cheaper this time around!

Sorry to hear work is shit :(

foxytocin · 12/03/2011 16:09

I have given K a more civil response on FB just now. Full of the lurgy and feeling sorry for myself at the mo.

Indith · 12/03/2011 16:39

Yeah I know your pasta was rubbish. It is only because I have a BOGOF for up to 6 people that we are going there. Stick to the pizza this time!

Sorry work is not going well at the moment, is it the same troubles as before that are rearing their head again? Come out with us, drown it all in cocktails. The world is a much better place with cocktails.

Kara when would you like the pink? It fills and extra large space bag Grin. I am planning on buses for the night out so I can have more than one cocktail so possibly not carrying it! We'll have to do a daytime meet before Flora come along Wink

Yeah no problem, I can arrange to pick it up from yours next time you feel up to a play date :D

Think I need to get a few more weeks of potty training under my belt with Daniel.. safe to say we have good days and bad days.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 12/03/2011 20:42

Poor Foxy :(
And she sent me a lovely message!!

spiggy · 16/03/2011 08:49

Foxy, come out to play- I'll keep your mind off crappy work with lots of questions about slings (I want a new one but want it to fit so I need an expert!)

Juney- I'll drive so you can have cocktails? Anyone else want a lift?

I have been ordered to use up some of my holiday so I have 3 days off with no children. DP off tomorrow and Fri but today I am all on my own. After my lovely hot bath with bubbles and no interruptions I might read a book and get through more than 1 page before having to put it down Shock Grin

Envy

Have a great few days off Spiggy, you deserve them!

LeggyBlondeNE · 16/03/2011 16:14

Right, T has started sleeping til after midnight again (most nights anyway!) so if this continues I might be able to come out!

She usually goes down by 7.30 so could maybe get to restaurant for 8.

On the other hand, our lenders just changed their minds about our new mortgage and we've got to scrablle around to raise a sizable sum so I might have to be very good and just get a main course...!

I will beg Beloved tonight!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 16/03/2011 16:35

Oh yey Legggy that is great!

Spiggy - you have a lovely few days off :)

LeggyBlondeNE · 17/03/2011 13:19

Woohoo! I am allowed out! (and financial meltdown is averted so I may have a glass o' vino as well!)

Indith - do you want me to vcall ask and add myself?

Indith · 17/03/2011 16:35

Have booked for 8 Leggy for breathing space anyway in case you, Foxy, anyone else stumbled on us and decided to come.

Table booked for 8pm. Bring on the cocktails!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 17/03/2011 16:44

Are we meeting in Ebony first?

Indith · 17/03/2011 16:53

Hope so! Otherwise I'll just be a lonely old drunk downing cocktails while looking ever so slightly startled at being out after dark.

OP posts:
KaraStarbuckThrace · 17/03/2011 19:23

Okay I should be okay to meet you there, need to check with M though.

LeggyBlondeNE · 19/03/2011 21:26

Wow, yes out after dark! Last time that happened I was walking T up and down the street in her sling to try and get her to sleep during a 2-hour bedtime marathon!

Woohoo! Night out!

juneybean · 21/03/2011 14:13

Thanks Spiggy! A lift would be fantabulous!

Looking forward to cocktails but have no idea what to wear :(

KaraStarbuckThrace · 21/03/2011 17:12

I'm wearing my bargain JojoMamanBebe dress, originally £39, was in the sale plus used the MN code for 10% off and free delivery, got it for £8 - bargain!!

I think I may need tights to go under but I hate wearing tights, so might wear leggings instead, got some quite thin ones.

Indith · 24/03/2011 12:10

No idea at all what to wear. Just 2 sleeps!

OP posts:
KaraStarbuckThrace · 24/03/2011 12:38

Am feeling poorly today, bad stomach aches :(
Seeing GP this afternoon, hope I will be better by Saturday!

Indith · 24/03/2011 12:47

Oh dear, hope you fell better soon Kara:(

OP posts:
KaraStarbuckThrace · 24/03/2011 18:37

Got checked out at the maternity assessment unit, everything is fine, they recommended co-codamol for the pain and to get plenty of rest!

Indith · 25/03/2011 08:04

Glad you and baby are ok :)

You'll be mostly sitting down on Saturday, that counts as rest doesn't it? Grin Don't push yourself though, we can always go for cake when you are feeling better if you don't feel up to it on Saturday.

OP posts:
KaraStarbuckThrace · 25/03/2011 13:31

Yes I consider going for a nice meal very restful :)
Got some support bands as well to help as I have mild SPD as well, need to ring MW on Monday to get a physio referral as they had no forms when I asked today. Wasn't going to bother but if I am having difficulty now at 29 weeks what will be like at 40 Shock

juneybean · 25/03/2011 22:10

Is it 7pm at Ebony??? Grin

KaraStarbuckThrace · 26/03/2011 09:59

Yes it is Juney!

One more sleep to go... am having a nap this afternoon ;)
