I'd like to speak to women from Mumsnet whose political allegiances have changed to Reform in recent times. Ideally they would be willing to be named and pictured (in a piece for the Telegraph). Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.

Replying to previous poster about why they are so keen to promote this. As always, follow the money. The Telegraph has just now been sold (used to be owned by Barclay brothers - the original secretive billionaire types who
lived on a secluded island off the UK).

it’s now owned by Redbird Capital (sole controlling owner) who are an American consortium. Their partner (15% significant minority control) in the bid was IMI who are an Abu Dhabi company with links to the Royal Family there.

So like a lot of our newspapers, it’s no longer funded by UK interests.

Never in a million years. I believe that it is our civic duty to use our hard won right to vote but if Reform had the only candidate standing, I would spoil my vote.
As it stands, I really don't know who I will vote for in the next GE. Fortunately there is time for at least one Party to come to their senses wrt women's sex based rights.

No matter how disillusioned I am be with Labour, how challenging I found 13 years of conservatives, NEVER will I vote Reform.

A huge percentage of Reform supporting accounts on X have been revealed to be bots. Their online support isn't genuine. Everyone with half a brain knows that Russia wishes to destroy Europe and the United States. They are succeeding in the USA with Trump and MAGA, and hence their support of the far right in Europe. Don't forget their interference in Brexit. Reform is the UK political wing of Russia's aspirations. The Cold War never ended and it's amazing that all these 'patriots' can't see that they're being played like a fiddle. There is not enough coverage of the fact that Russia has been financing the small boat gangs which are helping people cross the channel. It's all about destabilisation.

Can you provide any proof (not speculation) that Russia finances small boat crossings? Do you realise Russia has its own issues with immigration and anti-immigrant sentiment?

In which case it would make complete sense to direct immigrants to Western Europe, wouldn’t it?

Plenty of other links across the web. Google it and you'll find plenty of information. Flooding Europe with migrants is part of their plan, and they're particularly exploiting the fact that the UK can't return migrants due to the fact we left the Dublin agreement. Something Nigel Farage supported which has led us into this mess wuth small boat crossings.

Do you understand the history of why Zack Polanski (and before that his family) changed name or do you just want to make snide comments?

Yes I do - his Jewish heritage, however other name changers in politics always have their original names posted along side their new ones and it’s usually as evidence that they’re untrustworthy in some way. Zack/David doesn’t get a pass.

I'm not going to argue. You may not have intended it but I think it was offensive. You are suggested he is 'hiding' something by changing name , or you are suggesting he is deliberately showcasing something. I'm uncomfortable with that.

If someone changed name 25 years ago, I am going to call them by the name they have had their whole adult life.

AI definition of anti semitism. Please point out to me where I have been anti Semitic? You will not be able to because I wasn’t. This is just another bad faith accusation which ensures that conversations turn to defence against the irrelevant accusation rather than addressing the actual issue being discussed. Clarity around people changing names is very important, especially if the person is attempting to lead a nation.

Jewish or not Zack/David has a long history of political activism which should be considered when we are considering who to vote for, not to mention his hypnotherapy practice where he claimed to be able to enlarge women’s breasts 🤨. Knowing people’s names and full background is step one of choosing who to vote for to be your leader. Do you suggest he should get a pass from that? Ridiculous.

It is now but it wasn’t always and voters deserve to have all the information. Honestly surprised I am having to argue this.
