one small breach is pretty good in 3 months. Firmly back on it now
To a long term bootcamper, this bit really does seem to resonate as the key to success. I've tended to eat perfectly for a while, whether days, weeks or months and then, the minute I have a breach, fall face down into all the starchy carbs.
Telling myself " I'll just have one of those then get back on the waggon. "
In some cases, it's taken years to get me back to it. No sensible reason why that should be. When I am eating low carb, so long as I am eating all the veg, I just feel so much better all round.
This time round, I have once or twice eating something off plan and then stopped, before entirely satisfying my appetite for whatever it was. Just have one then get right back to it.
And it's worked so far since January.
Irritatingly, that's exactly what my mother, who appeared to be effortlessly slim recommended. I'm afraid I didn't have it in my to acknowledge that her advice was good. Until now.
