Summer holidays is a great time for a bootcamp.
Bootcamp really took off for me, the year I read posts from @ilovecherries who kept rigorously to the rules from the day she started bootcamping and moved to bootcamp lite for holidays.
I had been assuming that I would fall off the waggon big time on holidays and had not been looking forward to going through the very early days of adapting to low carb (that loud voice in my ear telling me I had to eat chocolate, sweets, ice creme whatever) on my return.
Instead, on hols on Crete, in the sun, I drank lots of water, ate really well grilled fish/ meat and loads of salad & veg, had one ouzo each night (swerving the sugary cocktails).
Promised myself an ice creme on the last night which I forgot all about.
Asking in restaurants about veg and herbs and how they are cooked I found out about 'Horta' essentially 'whatever greens we could find in the market'
Brilliant holiday, good food, no guilt.
I remind myself if it when I wonder why I ever fall off the waggon meanwhile. Look forward to bootcamping with you all this summer.
