What about lemon/ orange/ lime zest @Lougle? I know fruit is not allowed but just the zest for some flavour should be ok?

I've never had miso soup.

Well I'm happy today because my waist circumference is down 2 inches. Couldn't be bothered to measure the rest of me but I've noticed favourite jumpers clinging less on my arms, too.

Apart from cinnamon, which no right-minded person should consume, has anyone got any suggestions for making Greek yoghurt more interesting? I used to have dried fruit and seeds in it but they're out. Could just do with a bit of texture or variation in taste.

I sprinkle nutmeg on my yoghurt

@Lougle what about a literal drop of almond essence, a pinch of ginger, or, after this week, a swirl of peanut butter?

I'm having a migrainey week, not great this morning either. Just going to KOKO.

B- black coffee
L- toasted keto bread with slab of butter
D- beef chilli, avacado, shoogled cabbage.

Sorry - I don't know why MN doesn't let links to youtube from me anymore but if you look on there for Yogurt Coffee - hot and cold by Alex Gerasimov he shows how to layer the yoghurt/coffee so it's like a dessert type drink

Breakfast today: scrambled eggs with gouda cheese

I've missed lunch as I've been out a lot.

Dinner: salmon fillet, cauliflower cheese, courgette and shallots.

I can't eat the greek yoghurt anymore because it's setting my interstitial cystitis off 😣 I have been having bits of cream just in a bowl, so that'll have to do for the time being until I can have some blueberries and flaked almonds alongside it.

Great ideas, thanks. I have had a horrible migraine today. Taken meds so the headache is lifting but my neck and shoulders are still really heavy and sore and I still feel sick despite a double dose of prochlorperazine.

Got to think of a low-carb but interesting pork belly meal tonight.

Breakfast: cottage cheese and coffee with soya milk and cinamon
lunch: flask of coffee with coconut oil
Dinner: egg fried rice (konjac rice) with roasted pepper and aubergine and mixed salad with drizzle of olive oil.

Fluids: loads of redbush tea, just brew lemon and ginger tea as well.

@Lougle I was going to suggest a teeny drop of vanilla too the Yogurt. Not a fan of yogurt in general, so looking for ways to improvise as well. @Furball thanks for the suggestion, now watching more yogurt coffee videos, iced version would be good for summer (if we get any )..
Yesterday for L: Pork & mushrooms
D: Chicken fried with left over mushrooms
and was a bit hungry after this, so tried a few drops of vanilla extract on greek yogurt.
My son got up with a cramp and bad tummy, we are suspecting the chicken after my husband read something about the recalls in news. He is a bit poorly as well.
So deciding to throw away the rest of the chicken now, and may not have anything for lunch tomorrow.
Today for L: 3 eggs & spinach omelette. Left over pork for dinner yesterday and whatever is left in fridge I guess.
I am feeling sorry for myself, I had few slices of LC bread, homemade in freezer, had to threw away those when we moved and was only able to take selected few stuff..
💐to those kids who are doing Big exams this summer, keep going, it would all be done soon. My daughter recently had t choose GCSE options, we spent ages thinking back and forth and she was very tensed, so can only imagine where I would be with her when it is time for exam :(
and I have downloaded waterlogged app and started tracking yesterday.. so mostly 2L of water plus two mug black coffee.. which would keep me bursting for pee every few hours, I don't know how to drink more than that 😓

L: lamb moussaka sauce leftovers with tzatziki and green salad, plenty of dressing
D: someone mentioned what they did with Turkey mince last week and I tried something similar with sausage meat: Italian sausage meat (v low carb) fried with onion, fennel seeds, passata, chilli's and cream. Had mine with buttered cabbage with parmesan and kids and DH had pasta

On 4th litre of water. Feel so full up!
This is the end of my first week as I was late starting, it has gone well I hope

Middle child (aged 2) currently having a total meltdown about wanting his chopped up grapes (which he asked for) unchopped. Neighbours must think he is being violently attacked 😳

B: quick plate of buttery scrambled eggs before taking DD swimming
L: prawns in mayo, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes
D: chicken in garlic butter, asparagus and flat mushroom cooked in avocado oil.

@UnOeufIsEnough that sounds delicious! How do you get your avacado oil to be pourable?! In my cold kitchen it's normally in a solid state...

Today:
B - greek style yoghurt and double cream
L - Baby bistro salad leaves, baby plum tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese, tuna, olives
D - roast belly pork, spring greens with butter, courgettes and baby plum tomatoes.

Fluids - 2 x 750ml water so far (1x 750ml to go), 5 cups of tea with almond milk, 1 cup with full fat milk.

Cross posted with @lougle as I wrote the post then ate dinner before I realised it hadn't posted!

Breakfast - creamy coffee at 7am, Greek yoghurt at 10, meat stick at 11.
Lunch at 1 - roasted Mediterranean veg with feta
Dinner - spag bol with black bean spaghetti (I have 50g, it looks like barely any but weirdly seems to go really far when you start eating it) and sprinkly cheese. A sausage (cooked a load for lunches and had to eat one hot!).

3 days at a conference and I'm up 3lbs. Oops! All LC food but probably too much + alcohol.

Have been good today - fasted till 1 and then lunch. Lots of water. Hopefully I will go back down soon......

In meetings for most of the day meant limited water and a late lunch. Leftover ratatouille at 3pm and Savoy cabbage "carbonara" for dinner which was delicious.

Planning duck breast and celeriac gratin or similar for dinner tomorrow with the dregs of the veg box. Eating everything up before hols!
