Good morning Flowers

So the last thread reached 1000 posts. I don't think that's ever happened on any other Bootcamp! It's a really good sign that everyone is engaged in the process, even if it's not always been from a positive place. If things aren't working for you, please keep reading and posting - even if you just lurk, hopefully the support and advice here will be helpful for you.

But it's a glorious day again, and the sun is shining brightly already and the birds are singing their hearts out. I hope that this translates into positivity and optimism for all of us this week - even if you've been struggling!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

We're past the dreaded weeks 4 and 5 now, so hopefully things will start to get going in the right direction, and you should see the weight move downwards - assuming, of course, that you aren't cheating or allowing carb creep.

Good luck everyone

I am full. My food was good. I am grateful to have had it

Sounds about right to me moist. Lessons learned about food can be a total mindfuck, but this mantra is positive and grateful. It's an attitude encouraged in the reading I have do e on mindful eating

PlymouthMaid1 · 19/06/2017 21:30

Ty Wombatoo might give that a try instead of creamy coffee as think I need to cut the dairy.

CaptainBraandPants · 19/06/2017 21:30

C4 20 steps today, 26,000 steps in 811 days? Yep, you are such a formidable woman, I have no doubt you and your bitches can do it. Star
Jiminny well done, I feel guilty for flunking out of my run today now.
MOIST why do you think you are a pig? Sounds like a perfect day to me.
Oliversmum can I ask what the point of your post was? Are you struggling and need support? Because that didn't come across in your post, it just reads a bit weird.

JiminnyCricket · 19/06/2017 21:31

C4 Eric doesn't 'do' speed. He's much more of a 'find a pucnic blanket and chill' kinda dog Grin

Oldbooks I have been downing flaxseed by the teaspoonful, hoping others will be along soon with answers. I 'xpekt a green smoothie of kale, avocado and cucumber would work...

TheWayOfTheWorld · 19/06/2017 21:37

I am reading everyone else saying that they aren't very hungry with this face Envy - I want to demolish everything in sight!!

B: fasting
L: bolognaise with cauli rice and some mozzarella; choc mousse with thick cream and 4 raspberries
S: fat head crackers
D: pan fried Parmesan chicken with mushrooms and spinach (see pic). May have some more choc mousse with cream - better than falling face first into ice-cream, biscuits etc. Period cramps pretty bad at the moment Sad

Captain, sounds like an interesting way to do the plank! My DC like to assist me with my exercising - although this sometimes take the form of trying to sit on my back during the plank!

Mandelinka, I will be doing the 7 min work-out in the morning, let me know how you get on!

Sounds like a great workout Jiminny, Lmost envious of the hosing!

C4 every step counts, you will do this!

Right, quickly posting my shit then I'll read the thread.

It's ROASTING.. I am struggling with the heat.

B - coffee with cream.
L - soup (what an ass in this heat!)
D - slow cooker 'roast' chicken and mashed cauliflower

Loads of water and loads of homegrown mint tea (from the nursery garden)

FinallyHere · 19/06/2017 21:38

Moist 'I am full. My food was good. I am grateful to have had it'

Sound pretty d*#m good to me, I'm planning to copy this as a daily target.

Giraffeski · 19/06/2017 21:45

@heman thanks but I promise that zip is not doing up!
I just typed out a long post and then lost it, urgh!

littlebillie · 19/06/2017 21:45

1lb up which is okay as I had very complicated weekend and survived eating mostly low carb.

BIWI · 19/06/2017 21:50

@TheWayOfTheWorld - if you're struggling with feeling hungry, I'd suggest that you give up fasting for a while

@Oliversmumsarmy why? Do you have any idea what pushed you so far off the wagon? But I agree with PP - your post is really weird. What were you meaning by it?

OldBooks. I mix linseed and coconut milk (milk substitute from the chiller) together and have it like a little dessert. I buy linwoods linseed and have one with coco and berries and finished another with apple and cinnamon. Both are low carb and make a nice treat .

NamelessEnsign · 19/06/2017 21:51

dustmote thank you - that's very kind and supportive of you. I know it will come off again but it was a real shock - over half the weight I had lost!

Giraffeski · 19/06/2017 21:54

Also, what is Ubercamp?

TheWayOfTheWorld · 19/06/2017 21:56

BIWI yes agreed, I will see how I feel tomorrow. I did a run this morning and am also exhausted from being up half the night with my son - combine that with Day 1 of my period and it is not a good combination for my appetite.

Have had 4 litres of water today as well (tend to be at the 3 litre level).

OldBooks · 19/06/2017 21:56

Thanks ASD great suggestions. I have ordered some coconut cream, like the idea of making a dessert

readyforno2 · 19/06/2017 21:56

I've caught up.. there are some amazing losses this week! Congratulations all Flowers

I have stayed the same. 13 2. A bit disappointed because I really wanted to have lost more before dh comes home (Friday) I realise there's still a bit of time but it's so annoying!!

YoLoZammo · 19/06/2017 22:01

Nice skirt giraffeski!

Is this the bulletproof coffee that people speak of?

blog.bulletproof.com/how-to-make-your-coffee-bulletproof-and-your-morning-too/

And can it just be made with ordinary instant coffee, butter and coconut oil?

styledilemma · 19/06/2017 22:07

B - I had to go out early, so grabbed a snack pot from a supermarket of 2 boiled eggs on some spinach. I can't believe how dry and tasteless it was. My taste buds have got used to flavorsome, non-dry, interesting food and to have something 'diety', dry and tasteless makes me realize what I've been missing all these years.

L - Stir fried chicken, salad with an oil dressing.
D - Salmon, broccoli with melted butter.
S - Creamy coffee.

A ton of water.

I'm missing my running, but it's too hot. I would have to get up at 6 in the morning and I'm not a lark.

HemanOrSheRa · 19/06/2017 22:10

Giraffeski I had no idea about what zip you were talking about until I downloaded your pic and zoomed in. You look lovely in that outfit. I know you would rather feel more fabulous with more weight off but you really do look lovely Smile. I still say you have lovely swishy hair and amazing arms and shoulders.

BIWI · 19/06/2017 22:11

@Giraffeski Ubercamp is a 3 day, no dairy, very low carb plan - it's on the spreadsheet. There's a version which is meat and eggs, a version which is meat no eggs and there's a version which is fish.

BIWI · 19/06/2017 22:14

@OldBooks - why does being regular matter? You only have a problem if you find it difficult and painful to go.

If that is the case, though, then you need to make sure that you're getting all your carbs from vegetables and salad, really up your fat and drink plenty of water.

OldBooks · 19/06/2017 22:17

BIWI ok, poor wording. TMI I have found the flaxseeds prevent my stools getting too big and hard to pass without causing bleeding, an issue I have had for a long time, especially following post-birth tearing

thenightsky · 19/06/2017 22:20

B - FF Total yogurt

L- 2 eggs scrambled with big lump of butter and a slosh of double cream

D - Half a fat head pizza with anchovy and mushroom topping.

Snacks - 4 brazil nuts and one teaspoon of almond butter.

2 litres of fizzy water with ice cubes.

Feeling pleased Smile

BIWI · 19/06/2017 22:22

Ah. Right - I get you. That sounds unpleasant

Have you tried making the flaxseed bread?

But I'd also say you should focus on doing all the other things I posted too.
