Well, I wouldn't recommend my recent diet of having-three-wisdom-teeth-out. I've been unable to eat properly for 2 weeks combined with tablets making me very sick.

Down 4kg in 2 weeks to 70kg or 11 stone. Just 6 to go - although now that I am eating properly again, I expect it to slow down a whole lot!

LexLoofah · 29/02/2016 20:04

good news hefzi, hope your recovery continues well

ouch squad welcome back

interesting about intermittent fasting as I eat with the DCs so nothing after 6pm so could easily do 14 or 16 hour fast as currently doing 13 anyway

well Day One of Uber, well in spirit if not in letter as not ready to go shopping yet as food in the house so:

B - broccoli stalks in butter, 2 eggs, tea with almond milk instead of dairy (sob), hope this is OK once or twice a day on UBC?
L - soup: hm chicken stock, half shallot, half courgette, tsp of fresh ginger, egg, splash of soy sauce
S - as hungry in the afternoon when I am normally not at all: snacking crackling
D - spinach, oil dressing, cold roast chicken, avocado, bacon
plenty of water and a mint tea
really, really wanted some choc after dinner, the sugar demon is still perched on my shoulder, no wonder I haven't lost anything

momofgirls · 29/02/2016 20:26

Please can you add 160 lb to the spreadsheet 1lb down this week.
Very noticeable intheclthes I wear for work. A couple of months ago everything was tight around the waist and struggled to fasten buttons.

feekerry · 29/02/2016 20:29

142 if someone can add my weight pls?
So, 3rd or 4th week in a row I have sts. Okay with this as been a bit more lenient over last few weeks but wondering how I lose those final 2 lbs. 140lbs was my goal from the start so only 2 to go but struggling to kick them. Do u reckon I need to go back to strict bc to get rid??

Moanranger · 29/02/2016 21:02

STS for me, if anyone can put that in.
B coffee & almond milk
L shepherds pie with cauliflower topping
S 1 am sugar free hard toffee
D broccoli with blue cheese sauce, roast duck breast, salad, 1/2 avocado, dressing.
I baked a big batch of egg & veg muffins, basically loads of finally chopped veg, egg, bit of cream or cheese or something & bake in silicon baking cups, then when cool, put in paper cases. This is for me to " grab & go." 6 eggs made 12 muffins.

BetsyM00 · 29/02/2016 21:03

Momofgirls and feekerry, both added to ss.

knowclue · 29/02/2016 21:11

Evening all, only just got home, feet are killing me! Could a kind soul please add me at 136 ? Being a daily weigh fanatic I've been very up and down this past week so that's my average overall.
I suspect am beginning to stall, finding that dairy is a real no no for me in terms of weight loss so having to cut back on butter/cream/cheese.

readyforno2 · 29/02/2016 21:33

Well done to all the losers, KOKO to those who have sts or, like me, put on.

I am well and truly back ON the wagon. It feels as though I am on self destruct mode atm.
I'm going to post daily food again to keep me on the straight and narrow...

B scrambled eggs with cheese
L homemade burgers with mashed swede
D Bolognese (no pasta) with salad
S ff yog with cinnamon

Probably around 3l water.

I have also changed my home screen to this to keep me on track.

Gcalgske · 29/02/2016 21:45

Lex I always get hungry in the afternoon if I have a broth based soup - I have started to add a load of butter....good luck on uber

Gcalgske · 29/02/2016 21:50

Creamy coffee
2 X chicken thighs in butter, lemon oil, chilli flakes with courgettie
Southern fried chicken (breading was grana padano, chilli powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano) small thigh, 1 drum and 1/2 breast with hm coleslaw (used 30g carrot in the 8 portions with shallot, and cabbage) dressed in hm mayo, with cream, lemon oil and grainy mustard.

Can I ask what über BC is? Is that a really strict version?

Also what happens when BC is over? Do people go back to eating how they want, although this has completely changed my appetite so think my daily sandwich days are over! Yay! Does introducing carbs again not make you balloon and undo all your hard work? Apologies for the dumb questions...

BIWI · 01/03/2016 00:49

Disco - ubercamp is a dairy free and very low carb three days. If you look on the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet you'll find it there. There's a meat and eggs version, a meat and no eggs version and a fish and eggs version. With recipes and shopping lists.

When BC is over, it's up to you what you do - if you've reached your target then your focus is on maintenance. If you just go back to eating how you want, generally this means going back to what you were eating before, which means you'll (usually) put weight back on!

If you haven't reached target, you can carry on - I keep a chat thread going until the next Bootcamp.

Gcal your chicken looks delicious! How do you cook it to get it so crispy?

Yesterday's food
B - 2 hb eggs, mayo, coffee with cream
L - olives, 2 babybel, leftover toast pork fried til crispy, cherry tomatoes, mayo
D - LC chilli, cheddar cheese, 85%choc melted with 3 tbsp cream

Today
B - hb eggs and mayo, coffee and cream
L - olives, ham, mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes, babybel
D - steak, asparagus, mushrooms with garlic butter

Gcalgske · 01/03/2016 08:21

Thanks old, Nero I marinated it in yoghurt then wiped most of it off (tenderises and acts as 'glue') then dredge with grana padano, ground almonds and spices. Fried in ground nut oil then baked till chicken cooked. V yummy.

NigellasGuest · 01/03/2016 08:55

weighing in and I'm at my interim goal weight! I have followed rules to the letter, and have found it very easy to a) not drink alcohol and b) not have any cravings. I am certain that LCHF really really works for me, and my challenge is to keep on this WOE permanently because in the past I have let things slip over the months, and ended up piling it all back on again.

Now aiming to shift a final half stone, and have started 16:8.

Not sure whether to post about this, BIWI ? because it involves skipping breakfast. Don't want to derail others.

BIWI · 01/03/2016 10:03

That's fine Nigella - when we're on BC it's OK to skip breakfast - just keep an eye on the hunger levels!

gcal thanks, I did use a fair amount of butter plus chicken fat in the stock, would have had something different but DH has had strange virus and not feeling up to much else and I only had a short amount of time to cook lunch and go out again so we ended up having the same thing. I have defrosted some random meal from the freezer for his lunch today while I have uber one - and your fried chicken looks amazing btw

MissSmiley · 01/03/2016 11:27

Well done nigella!
I'm down to 139lbs - still another 10 to go.
Was I'll last week so hopefully won't go up again this week.
What's 16:8?

NigellasGuest · 01/03/2016 11:46

Thanks MissSmiley ... Well done you aswell! StuntNun told me what 16:8 is a few posts back or at the end of the last thread - fasting from 8pm to midday.

BIWI do hunger pangs stall you or do you just mean watch out for hunger pangs in case they trigger carby twattishness?

mustbemad71 · 01/03/2016 12:10

Woohoocongrats Nigella well done on getting to your goal!

I need to get back to posting:

B: spinach omelette
L: little gem cucumber chicken and avocado salad
D: will be sea bass Cauli mash and green veg of some description

Well done Nigella! It really helps with the motivation to see this WOE working Smile

I will definitely try your crispy chicken, gcal thanks.

I've had a weird metallic taste in my mouth for a couple of days and generally feeling a bit rubbish and sort of queasy/travel sick. Hoping it's something simple like a random period on its way and not something diet related like not enough water/salt/minerals...???
