Morning all my lovely campers!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker if you prefer to keep things private.

Hopefully the dreaded weeks 3 and 4 are well behind us, and we can now get on with the process of shedding more fat Grin

Here's to another good week, and I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning

chester I've had/got a bad cough at the moment and had hardly any appetite for two days. Suddenly today I am feeling hungry again. Hope you feel better soon.

B: Chicken soup
L: LC pancakes with vanilla cream and berries
D: ?

Gcalgske · 19/02/2015 13:36

Managed a tsp of peanut butter and a pint of water at midday. Whoop!
Hope everyone feels better soon.

almahart · 19/02/2015 13:38

Love uber boot camp so far. Made me realise I hadn't been eating enough fat and veggies. Was full for ages after mushroom omelette and just had smoked salmon and avocado salad. Delish. Recommend

nowitsenough · 19/02/2015 13:45

So far today I've had 2 fried eggs and 2 rashers of bacon for breakfast and fried chicken breast (small) with mayo and salad for lunch. I've got mince out of the freezer for dinner, not sure what I'm making though. I've had 2 decaff coffee with a splash of cream and 3 big glasses of water.

imustbepatient · 19/02/2015 14:11

Afternoon all.

Today so far I've had

B: two HB eggs mashed with butter, BPC
L: left over salmon fillet and buttered mashed swede from last night, with a dollop of hm mayo

2.25 litres so far. Will get at least another 1.5 in by the end of the day.

Not sure yet what I'll do for dinner. I have some mince in the fridge so I could so something with that. Actually no, I think I'll have a chicken breast (skin on) with celeriac chips in duck fat and some broccoli.

If I manage that it will be four days with no dairy. Will be interesting to see if that makes any difference. If it does, at least it will give me an answer for what I need to do for weight loss. If not, at least I will get to keep having dairy!

StuntNun · 19/02/2015 14:23

This week I have hit the 11 stone mark only heading in the wrong direction. Never mind, in about nine weeks I fully expect to lose 7 or 8 lb in a single day. WinkWinkWink

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 19/02/2015 14:48

Only 9 weeks stunt? Shock That's come around quick!

Had a shocking day yesterday. today is better but not good. I need so strong words with myself.

Mrsstevejones · 19/02/2015 15:06

Today i had my BPC for breakfast and a green smoothie. I have done a spin class ( gosh i am unfit my legs may never forgive me) and had a lovely wallow in the hot tub and did a few lengths of the pool. Need to drink more water as i have a headache but i am knackered. I need to go food shopping but really dont want to. I am starving and have nothing in, might have topick up a cheeky pepperoni.

As a treat after my uber boot camp last week i am making broccoli and cauli cheese tonight yum.

Off to drink more

Romeyroo · 19/02/2015 15:33

gcalgske, thanks - yes, I tried with coconut flour over Christmas - I really did not like the texture, which is probably a personal preference. . The cake actually came out almost normal, aside from being a bit crumbly. DS has had one piece and has not been binging off the walls, the only problem is that he will now only want to eat cake Hmm.

Not tried almond flour yet, but do have some.

trashcanjunkie · 19/02/2015 15:46

Afternoon all.

Food today so far

Breakfast - left over half a lamb burger, cup of tea

Lunch - tuna mayo with radish and spring onion

Still only on my first litre, must get sloshing it down.

Dinner may be at Nandos so if that's the case then I'll have plain chicken with mayo and salad. If not I'll nip out to tesco and grab a few bits.

LexLoofah · 19/02/2015 15:47

romeyroo I often bake with ground almonds or coconut flour for the kids, can your DS not have any kind of sugar or is honey or coconut sugar OK? Most of the time the ones we make have very low amount of coconut sugar or honey compared to the traditional recipes. I know for LC it does not matter what kind of sugar and the amounts probably still too much but for non LC people and kids they are much better than the refined type of baked goods

Could send some tried and tested recipes if you like, not on here though don't want to tempt anyone

trashcanjunkie · 19/02/2015 15:52

I am feeling like utter shite this afternoon. Having a resurgence of campylobacter symptoms. Arsemaggedon.

Gcalgske · 19/02/2015 16:04

I'm with you trash thank Christ my mil was available today.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 19/02/2015 16:04

Just had my curry leftovers for a late lunch

Will have a chicken and avocado salad later for tea

trashcanjunkie · 19/02/2015 16:12

Oh god it's rubbish isn't it?...

Gcalgske · 19/02/2015 16:12

Coconut flour is tricky to handle but I like it. I can't have soya (lo is allergic) and I'm not keen on the phytooestrogen in my diet (I'm not good with the science so just tend to err on the side of caution) I love cooking with almonds though, a touch of xanthan gum can help with crumbling. I really want a low carb chocolate almond pudding now :( although considering I've not managed to keep anything in my tummy since yesterday tea time I think it would be a REALLY bad idea even if I wasn't on boot camp.

Gcalgske · 19/02/2015 16:14

Yip, marginally less horrific than rotavirus but I feel crap.

Gcalgske · 19/02/2015 17:49

This is what I want someone to make me. Leave out the sugar natch but please, I love these.

mootime · 19/02/2015 18:08

Sorry to hear about people feeling rubbish. Tummy bugs are grim.
I'm feeling more positive. I think my blues (and possibly weight gain were PMT. Now have the most horrific period (presuming worse due to crazy post Breast feeding hormones).

Managed my first restaurant trip today and while not ideal, could have been far worse. We were in giraffe and all of their salads etc have some carbs in. So I had a burger (no bun) with coleslaw, which would have been perfect other than the fact that they made it without Mayo and with orange juice instead!!?!?

Oh well. Have duck legs and celeriac dauphinois for supper. Yum.

ijustwanttobeme · 19/02/2015 19:12

That's me done for the day.

B: half an avocado and coffee with cream
L: tin of tuna mixed with mayo, plus another 1/2 avocado, plus ham, and a bag of salad.
S: was a wine gum
D: rump steak with peppercorn sauce, tomato, and some fried mushrooms.

It's so weird, that I don't get the 11pm munchies so much now. I mean I know you're not meant to, but wow! And if On the odd occasion I do, a cup of spiced tea gets me through.

Flowers to those who are unwell

For those who are suffering with tummy bugs at the moment, it is a good idea once you are a bit better to take acidophilus to repopulate your gut with good bacteria.

Another great day for me (spot the newbie)

B: 2 fried eggs & 3 streaky rashers
L: Tuna with avocado, green pepper, spring onion, along with rocket & cucumber
D: Mustard crusted gammon with stir fried cabbage
1.5L of water, 2 coffees and a tea

Annoyingly I was ordered in from annual leave to complete an 'urgent' piece of work which apparently had to be on person's desk by '9.00am Monday morning'. It's not even my boss, but still a senior bod. Came in, did the work, e-mailed it, only to get their out of office saying they were off until Tuesday. WTF! How utterly unreasonable. Angry Cancelled plans and DH had to take a day's leave to allow me to go in.

Gcalgske · 19/02/2015 20:54

beryl that's pants! Poor you. Thanks for the tip on the gut flora.
Reminds me does anyone make their own yoghurt? I'm needing a good source of dairy free yoghurt starter and I'm looking for a recommendation.

ChesterDrawers · 19/02/2015 20:55

Appetite still AWOL. Today I have eaten four mini almondy cheese scones and a cup of Bovril. Now in bed with a camomile tea feeling sorry for myself. Didn't even flinch when bad DH asked if I wanted to share a cider!

Hope the other sick bods are feeling better tomorrow. It's my turn to host our weekly mums' get-together so will have a house full of five kids and their parents to feed/entertain/clean up after so I am hoping a good sleep sees me much improved.

almahart · 19/02/2015 21:06

Had chicken thighs and veg a la uber camp meal plan. Was yum. I thought I had the hang of it but the green veg/fat combo is key isn't it. Had to have a bite of plain sponge cake but hid most of it in my handbag. Ridiculous!
