Morning all my lovely campers!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

and don't forget the Weight Tracker if you prefer to keep things private.

Hopefully the dreaded weeks 3 and 4 are well behind us, and we can now get on with the process of shedding more fat Grin

Here's to another good week, and I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning

I think I might go back to logging everything I eat on here. Might help

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 18/02/2015 07:33

EhricSmile
You must be the laziest vegetarian, how do you survive with out prepping veg. Smile

As you are getting bored over half term try knocking up some good bulk meals and freezing them this week. To break it up gave you some links and you must have a load of opportunity. Go on double dare you to spend a morning shopping and an afternoon preparing 10 meals you can freeze.Wink But you be real please if you do it.
If you where here could chopped loads of veg and flash freeze in the garden with a fan to get the -40c

I did a recipe of todays foods on Self Nutrition data free sign up, 280% protein 38g carbs by lunch
Cabbage is just so easy to over do. missing on a few minerals and vitamins as well. Will try some uber days this week.

On those not losing weight Cutting carbs is more effective than low-fat diet for insulin-resistant women, study finds it might mean your not insulin-resistant and therefore will need to adjust to metabolise carbs differently to those that are.

Good luck everyone KOKO goodnight

ChesterDrawers · 18/02/2015 07:33

Morning everyone,

Scales on the way back down thank goodness. Don't know why I always self sabotage Sad. Feeling dreadful with a cold too, what I wouldn't give for a Lemsip right now. But I won't, of course.

B: BPC, can't face anything else at the minute
L: eggs in some form, probably an omelette
D: Might get a belly pork joint out of the freezer - they had them in Aldi the other week seasoned with salt and pepper. As far as I can see no other ingredients so hoping it's ok.

Was going to do a five mile run today but feel dreadful so doubt that's going to happen. Sigh, more things stacked up against me.

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 18/02/2015 07:35

Damm why is when you proof read, you never see the crap spelling and grammar until you hit the post button...... Angry

BIWI · 18/02/2015 07:40

What is it that you miss about Lemsip?!

You could always try drinking hot water with lemon squeezed into it, along with a glass of soluble paracetamol?

Haha I don't mind prepping veg but I can't be arsed with making fancy meals. I occasionally cook a chilli or curry but they are tricky on LC! I am going to make a slow cooker stew I think, with some veg and maybe chuck the quorn chicken I bought and nobody likes!
I usually 'cook' meals like veg with rice in soya sauce/tomato/chilli etc so my LC meals are along the same lines so quite repetitive.

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 18/02/2015 07:55

BIWI that's the article that claims cheese can spike insulin as much as white bread!

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 18/02/2015 08:16

So much for ubercamp, dh made breakfast for me before i asked for it - coffee with cream, smoked salmon with cream cheese and scrambled egg

Fatstacks · 18/02/2015 08:26

Morning campers :)

The trials they put us through eh Beyond? My DP brought back original almond milk, the one with 30g of sugar per carton Shock

My lofty 'I can't possibly drink that' was met with his dour face and 'I've just been to the supermarket, in uniform, at the height of a terror alert because you cannae drink the other milk, just drink it'

Unreasonable arse Grin

Today is first of lent so I'm no sugar, no booze sob and doing some litter picking.

Have a good un.

RandomHouseRules · 18/02/2015 08:33

Thought you might like this article as an easy to read but academic discussion of fat v carbs and why saturated fat is ok. Perhaps good for anyone having to defend this WOE. Hope link works as am posting from phone.

theconversation.com/were-so-indoctrinated-that-saturated-fat-is-bad-that-we-dont-listen-to-the-science-34993?

ChesterDrawers · 18/02/2015 08:37

I like Lemsips when I'm poorly BIWI, and they do seem to have a certain, erm, drying up quality you just don't get with paracetamol and lemon. Don't worry, I won't have one and know they are full of chemicals and other shite, but even so they do taste quite nice.

Amaxapax · 18/02/2015 08:47

DAIRY FREE IS THE HOLY GRAIL! I was 199 for three weeks, dairy free since Monday and now I am 196.8. So close to the next stone, and I'm convinced I'll be there by Monday. I miss cheese (oh, cheese), but this is probably worth it.

BestIsWest · 18/02/2015 08:56

I have hovered just above the next stone barrier since the end of the last bootcamp and just can't break through it. So I will join in the dairy free. No cream in my coffee is going to be hard but I guess I can manage if for the repast of this week.

Mrsstevejones · 18/02/2015 09:03

So pulled my socks up today, i weighed this morning and i am a pound up which frankly is good as it all went wrong at the weekend.

B-BPC
L-Green smoothie and cauli rice
D- pork belly slices or beef burgers with whatever wilty veg is left in fridge doused with butter.

Off out with the kids to a local forest and will pop ds in sling so that should burn off some cals!

SayraT · 18/02/2015 09:04

Good news amaxapax well done Flowers

EhricLovesTheBhrothers · 18/02/2015 09:15

Which brand of coconut oil do people use?

almahart · 18/02/2015 09:25

amaxapax I just read that after my breakfast of total, cream and berries Grin. Am gearing up dairy free though. Scales nudging slightly down, I think I was punished for all my wine drinking on Saturday.

That does worry me a bit re maintenance, am I going to put on 3ibs every time I have a boozy night out?

Notso · 18/02/2015 09:51

That's great amaxapax

I used to use the cheapo KTC one Ehric but my Tesco have stopped doing it so I currently use vitacoco which was much more expensive. The KTC one was flavourless, the new one is coconutty.

Feel crappy again today. Little DC were up and down last night and are bickering and naggy already today. 14 yo has given up chocolate for lent and has just stropped back upstairs because the 10 yo was eating chocolate Philadelphia on his brioche.

The celeriac chips and babybel puffs upthread sound lovely.
Beyond and Fatstcks you made me laugh with your 'trials' Grin

MrsKoala · 18/02/2015 10:09

I am going to attempt dairy free/reduction for the next few days. I bought some ktc coconut oil yesterday so will try a BPC again this avo in my slump time of 4pm (yesterday i had coffee with cream and 2 squares of 85% choc and today i am up a lb).

Can i just check again a BPC is coffee, a nob of butter, a tsp coconut oil and a splash of cream?

b - avocado, streaky bacon and spinach
l - mushroom omelette & salad

I've got some lamb mince for tonight and i am feeling uninspired. I have a celeriac. I could do shepherds pie i suppose.

More exciting suggestions welcome. :)

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 18/02/2015 10:32

Ok you horrible lot. What the hell has happened to the spread sheet?!? It wont let me see it. Says I don't have permission when I am logged in and says I need to log in if I don't. I am on a computer. I have NEVER had a problem with it. I wanted to look at some of the resources etc. I would like to access it. But it seems this is no longer possible?! Is this as a result of the ithingy lot getting a new way to access it? I NEVER had to log in to access the spread sheet before.

Amaxapax · 18/02/2015 10:37

Well, your mileage may vary as regards the dairy restrictions, and if you can tolerate cream, cheese and other deliciousness, do carry on, knowing that I am eternally jealous of you.

Have just done the 30DS again, this time with Jillian muted and my own music on. Far more tolerable! I have also looked at lots of before and after photos of people who stuck to the whole programme, and am determined to be one of them. I have only ever made it through level two before getting bored.

Off out for lunch with a friend today, and then going to a gig tonight, where I look forward to feeling very old amongst the hipsters.

SayraT · 18/02/2015 10:46

bitchy I have no idea, I can still get on as normal but obviously I made it, is anyone else having issues?

I haven't changed settings or anything.

lurkingmurking · 18/02/2015 11:03

MrsK how about meatballs?

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 18/02/2015 11:15

This is what i am getting (with loggin name removed natch)
