B - BPC
D - Chicken with olives. Not enough fat but I didn't have very long
T - Fried egg with smoked salmon and holandiase. Tried to make up for lack of fat earlier with the sauce! Was very tasty.

3 litres of water done, 0.5 to go Smile

B omelette as I described in earlier post

S bit of lovely, ripe Camembert

D three pork loin medallions fried in butter, with red cabbage and mustard

Two coffees with whipping cream, two cups of green tea, two cups of tea with a dash of milk, a few big glasses of water

BIWI · 14/05/2014 20:01

It's not the food I'm worried about so much as the wine ... Blush

Thanks stuntnun for the tea recommendations, though I can't stand chamomile !!
Glad you felt better Holger,
BIWI Spain is lovelyWink as is the ham and pork, try some secret pork if you get the chance right up BC
Sorry Brody not really got any pearls of wisdom re bowel movements, hopefully someone else will know

magso · 14/05/2014 20:08

Replacing some tea infusions with water. Have found I cope better letting it warm a little, and using a half pint glass so I can keep tabs more easily.
B egg in a cup with butter(now I know what is called - my scottish friend used to eat it at uni when feeling homesick), greek yogurt, redbush with lactofree milk
L salmon with ginger, broccoli and a couple of green beans (not sure those are allowed) covered in butter.
D fried chicken mini fillets with sun dried tomato paste, mushrooms broccoli and baby sweet corn covered in butter (the others had pasta too) then bitter chocolate mousse (see below)(mine was a thimble sized portion)
Yesterday I bought a low carb cook book for extra inspiration whilst shopping in the book shop after school for a birthday gift for ds classmate. As I was getting dinner ds looked through my book and found a lovely picture of chocolate mouse using whisked egg white, coffee, greek yogurt and very dark chocolate. Its really too high a carb content for BC but once ds gets a bee in his bonnet there is no redirecting him. So we made it. And I virtuously gave him the bowl and spoon to lick. It was surprisingly nice -(more a moussy yogurt) even without the raspberries it should have been topped with (we used mint leaves)!!

Thank you, too costababe, I knew someone else had mentioned me but couldn't find it Smile

BIWI · 14/05/2014 20:14

Your more than welcomeHolger I find it hard keeping up with everything everyone posts!!
Oh off to check out the chocolate mousse recipe!! Can it be possible?? A real desert!

StuntNun · 14/05/2014 20:23

I hate chamomile too Costa, that's why the Mighty Leaf ones are so good.

I'm off to try kale chips...

monkeyfacegrace · 14/05/2014 20:26

Sos sos mayday mayday!

Neighbour forced me to have 2 large glasses of red and I've contacted dontgiveashititis.

Tell me it isn't worth it!!!!

costababe · 14/05/2014 20:28

Just sayingWink

Best1sWest · 14/05/2014 20:29

Today ( this is probably very boring for everyone else but writing down my day is really helping me)

B - 2lidl Cumberland sausages with Mayo. Greek yoghurt.
L - bit more difficult as I was out shopping with DH and we had a choice of a Chinese buffet, a Harvester or a Frankie and Benny's. DH didn't like the smell in the Harvester so it was f&Bs. Ended up with a burger (didn't eat the bun), Mayo and a plain salad so I hope that was ok.
D - chicken and veg stir fry with garlic and soy sauce. Picked everyone of the bean sprouts out. More Lidl Greek yoghurt.

S - 2 spoonfuls of coconut cream, 1 coffee with cream. 1 black decaff tea, 1 black decaff coffee.

On my 4th litre of water.

prettybird · 14/05/2014 20:29

Can't remember if I've posted it, but I have a lovely recipe for low carb chocolate mouse that uses dark chocolate (or, as ds calls it, "healthy chocolate" Wink), a wee bit of milk infused with cardamon, juice and zest of an orange (so the only "non-low carb" bit), separated eggs and that's it. :)

Rich and intensely chocolately - and very easy! :)

(Actually, the recipe was developed by mistake: I forgot the last step which was the addition of whipped cream but when my dad made it following the whole recipe Blush, we decided that my truncated version was better!

costababe · 14/05/2014 20:29

Not heard of mighty leaf teasstuntnun where do you get these?

monkeyfacegrace · 14/05/2014 20:30

The red was drunk in our field while the kids raced around on their bikes in the sun. It was heavenly. I'm home now, on the sofa, and am gagging for an easter egg.

I've got chicken wings in the oven.
I've got cheese. I'm eating like my life depends on it. But I WANT CHOCOLATE!!

costababe · 14/05/2014 20:31

Try the mousse recipe up a few posts???

monkeyfacegrace · 14/05/2014 20:33

Cuz that'll work in my pissed up state Grin

costababe · 14/05/2014 20:45

Right that much wineGrin
Just eat some bloody cheese and be done with it!!!
Tomorrow's another day!
Sounds like you had fun in the sunSmile

olivesnutsandcheese · 14/05/2014 20:46

Monkey make yourself a bacon and fried egg starter - that'll sort you out Wink

Felt rubbish today and have lost my voice, nothing wrong with my appetite though:

b: ff yog and cream
l: tsp coconut oil and pastrami salad
s: most of DS' chicken thigh
d: broccoli soup and bacon& mushrooms fried in butter

Not enough water - off to glug some before DH comes home

calzone · 14/05/2014 21:02

Had steak with garlic butter.

Fried courgettes and mushrooms. Smile

calzone · 14/05/2014 21:04

I bought 8 turnips for 22p.

How would you cook them?

StringBeanJean · 14/05/2014 21:08

Evening all! Just checking in for my daily dose of low carb news - you're all doing marvellously well by the sounds of things.

Have just been having a squiz at the recipe thread, man there are some fab ideas on there . Think I'm going to try the broccoli and blue cheese soup this weekend. YUM.

Today I made an effort to eat more and feel much better - in fact I made it to 3pm without being hungry (meetings all morning and over lunch). A hearty supper has also just been out away Grin

B: Greek yog and cream
S: ham and butter sandwiches
L: mozzarella, Parma ham and rocket salad
D: sausages, green beans and creamy fennel

Think I might lay off the dairy a bit tomorrow.

calzone · 14/05/2014 21:16

StringbeanJean.....creamy fennel? Tell me more.

monkeyfacegrace · 14/05/2014 21:16

Right, dairy doesn't affect me so I'm having a bowl of whipped cream. Yum.

Well done everyone else!
