I'm a bit late to check in, but I lost 6.5lbs this week, which is nice :)

Thumbwitch · 14/05/2014 01:33

Meant to say - Pistey, sheeps have settled in fine, thank you Grin

Must. Drink. Water today.

teawithlemon · 14/05/2014 06:11

pannacotta well done!
V busy today, packed lunch but the big temptation will be avoiding sweeties at work, my major downfall. Have a good day everyone

teawithlemon · 14/05/2014 06:14

Thanks BIWI, just seen your reply

SirNoel · 14/05/2014 06:19

Morning all

looking sainsbo's usually have Black Farmers, but if not Aldi's fresh sausages are also low carb

Today looks like this so far:-

B - BPC decaf
S- poached egg and a knob of butter
L - fried aubergine with a bit of garlicky passata and cheese
T - not a clue yet

Have a good day all

HolgerDanske · 14/05/2014 06:30

Morrisons does black farmer sausages and I think waitrose does them too.

StuntNun · 14/05/2014 07:01

LookingforHope M&S do 95% sausages and chipolatas that are very nice. I've been making my own: mince up pork shoulder and belly in the food processor, mix with seasoning and stuff the skins. You can buy a sausage maker for less than £20. Mine are 97.5% pork (I use a gluten-free sausage seasoning that's potato-based rather than rusk) so they're very low carb indeed.

StuntNun · 14/05/2014 07:04

This is a good site to get homemade sausage supplies if anyone is interested. I like making my own as I can make very low carb sausages but also you can do your own flavourings such as pork and Stilton.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 14/05/2014 07:20

Morning all.
Breakfast, eggsinnacup, coffee with butter.
Lunch is going to be leftover chicken thigh and leek soup. (Btw, anyone got tips for low carb stock? I usually use marigold but looked at carbs-eek)
Dinner thinking bresaola salad.
Swerving the dairy to see if this is it.

calzone · 14/05/2014 07:29

Omg!!

I had another woosh!!!!!!SmileSmile

2lb off so that is 9lb off since last Tuesday.

Water is the key....definitely.

Have a great day!

Best1sWest · 14/05/2014 07:30

I may have lost half a pound! At least I am not going in the wrong direction Grin.

HolgerDanske · 14/05/2014 07:31

I'm seeing changes to my body again so I'm confident it's gearing up now even if the losses aren't showing on the scales yet.

Not sure what I'm going to eat today, haven't had any hit of inspiration yet.

Good luck to everyone today!

Best1sWest · 14/05/2014 07:33

I had some Cumberland sausages from Lidl that were 2 carbs per 100. I found the Black Farmer ones very salty. My local Tesco has them.

Pisseslikeahorse · 14/05/2014 07:44

morning all.
B. Eggs mushrooms aubergine surprise
L. Pork chop spinach with chilli mayo
D. yogurt (Judo training tonight, never on a full stomach)

Spent yesterday hungry even after I pigged out and upped my water is this a week 2 issue ?

SayraT · 14/05/2014 07:46

Good news best Grin

I have just been looking at yogurt makers, I think I am going to buy one. My local Lidl keeps running out of the big tubs of FF so decided it might be easier to make my own. I am reading the reviews of the Lakeland one and it seems very good though I have a feeling that I've seen a yogurt maker in my OH's parents house so I'll ask about that first.

Food Today

B: two eggs fried in butter, coffee with cream and coconut cream
L: Tuna mayonnaise, salad
D: LMDs Taco bake
S: FF yogurt or spoonful of coconut cream

I weighed myself this morning and seem to be another 1lb down so thats ~3lbs this week which is very good considering I've been on this WOE since January (with a few carby moments in between BCs).

costababe · 14/05/2014 08:00

Right I need to kick myself up the backside, food wise no issues, no cheats loads of salad, and veg low carbs everywhere, really struggling with tea and sweeteners at the mo, cold turkey is the only way I think!
Also we need to start the water chant at regular intervalsGrin
water, water, drink, drinkGrin
I have been using this WOE since March and it's suits me down 11lb in total and now only have 4lb to go but stuck in a sts or putting on and losing the same lb each week
Any suggestions??

IWillIfHeWill · 14/05/2014 08:04

Morning, still with it, haven't lost any more weight but was expecting it to slow down so that's ok.

alleypalley · 14/05/2014 08:37

I had a cheeky weigh in this morning as I didn't weigh until Wednesday last week, so over 7 days I lost 6.2lbs. Happy with that. The scales are now going into a cupboard and only coming out on Monday mornings.

Redtartanshoes · 14/05/2014 08:52

Morning!

Am loving the chat.

Could someone tell me what BPC is please?

antimatter · 14/05/2014 09:01

Carby flu here too.
Need to get some salty oxo cube in me or perhaps dehydration salt from the chemist Grin

antimatter · 14/05/2014 09:03

costababe - cut down on tea and coffee, dairy and drink lots of water!
if you loose that 4 pounds and start eating carbs your muscles will replenish glycogen and bind water - so look at measurements more

SnowieBear · 14/05/2014 09:11

Morning, just SMS... I delayed starting until this week as last week was difficult with functions at work and completely forgot about the two-day conference I'm attending this week... first day yesterday and not an LC option on sight. More of the same rubbish today. I'll count it as a success if I manage to stay the same for next weight-in, but really miffed at having lost not one, but two weeks.

MarcusAurelius · 14/05/2014 09:12

I'm going to a friend for lunch and she's doing tomato and red pepper soup. Not perfect but what can I do to make it better?

SnowieBear · 14/05/2014 09:17

Marcus... not much you can do, stay away from croutons, crusty bread, etc that may be offered. Mainline on water to compensate and lots of fat with this evening meal. Andenjoy your friend!

HolgerDanske · 14/05/2014 09:20

I've had omelette with shallot, mushroom, ham and spinach. Strangely I wanted ketchup with it which is odd because I don't normally have ketchup with my eggs... Didn't have any, of course.

Cup of tea will follow.

Feeling tired today but I think that has more to do with a general bleh about life at the moment and a bit of underlying stress.

My daughter is finished with her A levels in a few weeks' time, where did all the years go? I have managed to raise a real-life grown-up! Smile
