Is this Mumsnet (a board for Mums)? If so, why do you allow men to post on here? Why can't they contribute to their own discussion boards.

OP posts:

alwayslookingforanswers - so, I am not as good with my apostrophes as you lot. so what?

alwayslookingfor answers 'You are a stupid, twatface, misandrist, drunk(?) person (alien?) so stop being such a fucking stupid bitch and piss off.

Are you a man? Come on, why am I stupid? No, I'm not drunk. I'm not an alien, am not stupid and I'm not a twatface. I love my children and grandchildren

So now we've moved to the 'if you don't agree with me you must be a man' phase of the rant discussion.

alwayslookingforanswers · 30/09/2009 22:50

actually I'm shite with my apostrophes and my grammar, and spelling as well. But even I can see that it's MUMSNET not fucking MUM'S NET

You're obviously a bloke if you need those questions answering.

I am most definitely a woman, a pissed off, confused, angry, upset, hopeful, lonely, sad, relieved (and a few more that I don't care to mention) woman (yes all of those emotions all at once - only a woman can manage that).

Snorbs · 30/09/2009 22:50

It's not so much that the men "hook on to a women's site", it's much more that the owners of the mumsnet decreed that men can be members here, too. But, as others have said, if you want a purely women's-only site then there's nothing stopping you - other than what appears to be a most of a bottle of gin - from creating one.

(And, just between ourselves, at least one of the people who has posted on this thread is a >gasp!< lone-parent man. The horror!)

bratley · 30/09/2009 22:51

Seriously though, Mum, is that you?

Well at least you can go to bed knowing that tonight, you didn't find a single answer, didnt help anyone, didnt pass on any advice or experience, didnt learn about different ways of life or what to do if your neighbour has the worlds largest pram in your hallway, but my god, at least you made some people laugh!
You nutter.

alwayslookingforanswers · 30/09/2009 22:54

ooooo I was right

GypsyMoth · 30/09/2009 22:54

in order to get those children von,you must have had a MAN!!!

overmydeadbody · 30/09/2009 22:55

I only managed to read half the posts before completely frothing at the mouth at the rogue apostrophes by the ignorant OP.

I need to lie down in a darkened room for a while and read some Doris Lessing. She knows when to use apostrophes.

bratley · 30/09/2009 22:56

Yeah she had a man, but has been hurt by one and so has her daughter so now we all should.
Obviously.

Georgimama · 30/09/2009 22:56

All these stray apostrophes are hurting my brain. Arrghhh. Good trolling though.

alwayslookingforanswers · 30/09/2009 22:58

Gergi - he posted on a thread about getting married "too soon" after bereavement the other day - sounds like he's got a special someone with whom there's going to be a lovely happy future

Habbibu · 30/09/2009 22:58

"if you want a purely women's-only site then there's nothing stopping you" = providing you have the technical wizardry to be able to stop men registering. And if you can do that, I suggest you patent it and get very rich.

vonstingerrrr · 30/09/2009 23:02

well mums. good luck. Colditz - hopefully the men reading your posts will be as dim as you (thick as s**t in other words) and will have as much fun reading your rubbish as I do. ILoveTIFFANY he will have a gruff voice. Let's hope he sounds like a man. Lockets he will sort out where to put his apostophes (spelling?) and colditz wish you well. Can't say I have the same desires 'Personally, I like the idea that men are reading my posts. I get off on it.'

OP posts:
overmydeadbody · 30/09/2009 23:02

and this site isn't full of useless lone mum's

Georgimama · 30/09/2009 23:02

Oh I'm so glad. He is a love.

overmydeadbody · 30/09/2009 23:04

now off you fuck, there's a dear

Mamazon · 30/09/2009 23:04

loving the fact that Colditz is thick as shit according to someone that cannot even copy the name of a site she is complaining about correctly.
