well have had a few phone chats with him and decided to cool things down a bit...as not convinced i'm that keen, so he asked for my landline number so he could phone for free and i told him no he wasn';t getting it..which i thought he would take as a rebuff he was clearely quite shocked
and I had failed to ring him back
anyway said \i couldn't go next week as dgs has come out with chicken pox..sent him an email saying i would meet my sister in the afternoon after having lunch with him (ie don't bother taking the afternoon off)and told him he sounded disconcertingly like my brother on the phone
then emailed him about something totally irrlelevant (staying up tosee if misdees peter had his heart transplant)
then he sent me something saying how much i surprised him
so i said well i surprise myself I am totally unpredictable
so now he has sent me one
saying surprise me come and stay the night
so the theory of the more frosty and casual you get the more keen they get seems to have an element of truth
and bloody heel I am cautious about lunch never mind staying over..I don't think I fancy him really but he is funny in his emails, a bit too dull on the phone
