Thanks Joely- what a lovely message. Despite having a really hard time yourself you have given me some great advice and support- i really appreciate it. I think i have been shocked by how bad i am feeling- i asked him to leave- so it was my choice, but only because life with him here was so unbearable- so not much of a choice really! But, i think some people think because i asked him to leave that i should be ok.... But i hear what you are saying about it being a process that we need to go through and i totally agree with you- in the past when i was younger and things went wrong i used to just get on with life and push the problems to one side- but that didnt mean that i had dealt with them- and then issues come back at a later stage and bite you on the bum!
I feel as if i need to go through this- feel all the range of emotions and come through it the other side a wiser and stronger person- it is just at the moment because i feel so low and wiped out that i am struggling- i wish i could let housework, etc go on a back burner, but i know what i am like and that would stress me more- so anyway, i am off to do more work on ds's bedroom and will be back on later.

Thank you so very much- your kind words of support mean such alot to me. xxx

paulwellerfan · 30/05/2011 13:57

The HC- thanks- i think that you are amazing and an inspiration to us all- and when i think of what you are going through i feel very humble and bad for moaning. Thanks for your support and for allowing me to moan and rant- it is just what i need at the moment!!
I slept well last night- guess what time i woke finally? 9.40am!! I couldnt believe it- and this morning i have been to a garden centre for coffee with a friend and now i am off to do more on ds's bedroom.

I just want to say a very big "THANK YOU" to everyone for being there for me and offering such lovely support and advice- hope you all have a good bank Holiday- despite the rain...!

Joelybear · 30/05/2011 23:53

Paul well you were a lazy bones then weren't you? Grin but you obviously needed the sleep. Maybe you should have the next lie in for THC!! Though sure she'd rather have her own :) Hospitals are the worst place to be when you have problems as there is no chance of resting day or night. Sooner you get home to recover the better it will be. Hope you managed to get released for a few hours, or did you just shimmy down the sheets knotted together through the window? Hope you got some sunglassess for tonight.

I know why I am so late going to bed now because of daylight hours dusky around 11pm then getting light at 2am (Yes I even see when its starting to get light some times) will be glad when mid summer is past!!
Paul glad we were able to help and we are here when ever you need us so please let us help by listening to you. So glad you got a bit of time to yourself for coffee with a friend as it really does help to do grown up things NOT just the cleaning and tidying!! Hope you have found your way out of DS'S bedroom. I get scared to go in for fear I might not find my way out of DS 1 + DS2 bedrooms (LOL)!
Rock, Dumps, Ten, James, Corrine and the rest of you where are you? All enjoying the bank holiday weekend I guess. Oh well must go as a few more ebay items to parcel up to get in the post in the morning. Think DC's are getting scared to leave too much lying around incase I ebay it for them!! However if things get bad I could just ebay the DC's (NOT ON YOUR LIFE - no matter how whiney, wingy, bad tempered or naughty they are Blush)
Making a Brew if anyone wants one then off to sort parcels!! NIte all

Joelybear · 31/05/2011 00:01

THC in answer to your question today I went to a friends for lunch bit chaotic as between us we had 5 DC's under age of 6yrs so not at all restful, but good fun. Then went to another friends for coffee this afternoon and there were 7 DC's between 3 moms!! Came home made tea, took stablizers of DD's (6yrs) bike and watched her start to ride it. What a lovely moment that was Wink DS 3 (4yrs) can already ride without his "stabilizers" an he went and knocked on a neighbours door to ask the man there if he would put the saddle up on his sisters bike. So I returned out side to find neighbour sat at daughters bike waiting for spanner Shock!! What an independant 4 year old -Good job its real quiet were I live!!
then bath bedtime and sorting out a whole heap of washing and putting it away so a fun but busy day an "Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to work I go" in the morning again.

Joelybear · 01/06/2011 20:41

HELLOOOOO IS ANYONE THERE??
You all seem to have gone very quiet and think you have all run away or are you all partying and forgotten to tell me where its at?
Suppose you on half term so enjoying yourselves while others of us are working Grin
Hope you all OK and someone will come along soon!!

RockStockandTwoOpenBottles · 01/06/2011 20:45

I'm here! But pesky holiday makers getting in the way of MN!! REally busy week here as it's half term and I'm running around like a lunatic trying to make sure everything's ok for whoever! I do actually like my work when it's nicely spread out but it is crazy for the next few weeks..!

TheHumanCatapult · 01/06/2011 21:24

Am live just .Have een working pretty hard with physios and my head hits pillow and I am out ,but loosk like i shall be going home next week long as Equipment arrives.Anyone got iron bars for my eyes

Mind one advantage no one going to challenge me to arm wrestle now

Rock
Spoke to dd they are loving it

Joely hope your doing ok waves ta everyone else .

Joelybear · 01/06/2011 22:29

I hate this message system have just done lovely message and its gone and deleted it instead of posting it..... I hate modern technology LOL

Rock glad you keeping busy, atleast next few weeks will fly by for you so you will be nearer to moving home Grin

THC Brill news - let us know if equipment problems and we will beg/borrow/steal to make sure it is inplace for you. You so need to get a night (and more) in your own bedroom - do you have to have an electric bed or do you get too keep your own? Either way just being home will be much more restful tather than being on a busy hopital ward. Keep us posted on the progress and don't overdo the physio - No challange from me re arm wrestle Grin

Paul How you doin? Hope half term going OK. Thinkin of you and hope you feelin more positive - you are doing a great job. PM me if you want will help if I can.

Dumps, Ten everyone else hope you all OK an enjoyin half term.

Beautiful day here yesterday so left washing out overnight as not quite dry. FATAL mistake by morning it was wetter than if I had soaked it in a bath of water over night!! Has continued to rain most of the day = me an my bright ideas. Washing would have been dry now if I'd fetched it in last night HAHA

jamestkirk · 02/06/2011 20:55

you should live up north joely - i put washing out when i got in from work at half six the other day and it was dry by nine....still living the dream:o!

at least its friday tomorrow - and off to santa pod to watch a bit of drag racing at the weekend:o! and lots of burgers and ice cream - hope you have as much fun :o

TheHumanCatapult · 02/06/2011 21:40

spoke to dd and my friends today .Friend hate sthe villa as is in middle of housing estate and hates teh fact when in a villa is finding she has to do cleaning ,brush mop floors etc and there is nothing to do for the kids.

On way they ahd a night in Benidorm and apparentley the kids loved it and she was saying about us all going staying in this hotel next year www.hotelheliosbenidorm.com/ .But when i looked i need two rooms as rooms only sleep 3 and £180 a night makes for expensive holiday thats without the flight and be honest Benidorm is not my idea of a holiday kids will enjoy yes but i will hate it I reckon .Hotel looks ok but not at that price .

TheHumanCatapult · 02/06/2011 21:41

Hope everyone has a good weekend and help me think of exsucues about why not Benidorm in August .Though do get on very well with friends they are not drinkers

RockStockandTwoOpenBottles · 02/06/2011 22:02

There are no excuses for Benidorm in August. DON'T DO IT!! You'd be better off persuading them to book an apartment in a beach side complex down here somewhere. In August they'll cost around 700 for a 3 bed (with sofa bed as well, so sleep 8) per week. So, the floors might need a mop and a sweep, but way cheaper and you can come and go as you please, the pools will be big and the beach just there too.

Busy day spent mostly pottering, but achieving lots that needed to be achieved. Rewarded myself with a large, chilled glass of sparkling rosé - very nice it was too!

Joelybear · 02/06/2011 22:39

James I do live up very up north!! :) Just got it wrong and today has been appalling weather rain and wind (the weathers not mine) Still bad weather now!!
No half term here so DC's remain in school mode and routine of work etc continues. Hence the spoiled washing yesterday :(
THC at least you are getting invites on holiday even if it is to Benidorm, I can just picture you at poolside like in the comedy series Grin Say you don't want to be stereotyped so you cant go!!
Rock glad you managed to have a productive day keep up the good work!

Hi to everyone else Brew up if anyone interested!!

jamestkirk · 02/06/2011 23:32

hey joely - if youre much further north than here youll be in sunny scotland:o!

and no half term here either - tho only because my three are all long out of school - my eldest lives and works in the highlandsShock!

Joelybear · 03/06/2011 00:52

James definately Scotland will PM you where as ant make it public incase anyone who shouldnt be is reading this IYKWIM!! You appear to be a late night owl like me Grin

TheHumanCatapult · 03/06/2011 07:16

Ok Ladies stuff Brew Get your Wine out instead .I am of home for the weekend to see how i mange etc am slightly nervours ( but very excited to ) as almost 10 weeks ago i left the house walking ( sort of) now in a wheelchair but be so good

Rock I would prefer apartment/villa but friends have found they do not like self catering holidays .Where I prefer it .There is just them and one dc where I have 4dc so always gone self catering. think to do with family size .and I am a cheap skate

will chat with them , only reason I may well do It ,is the fact they are good friends and great company and since moving miss seeing them as much and least the kids would enjoy it I suppose ( trys to convince herself ) ..

Joely you do not want to know what weather has been like down here then .Looks for suncream .

Am lucky my friend and her other half are brilliant only thing I miss from old house is fact we are not over the road from them any more .Hell When I was rushed in and mum struggled to alter things they came straight up and collected my younger two and looked after them for a week .And have been into see me regulary to .We are going to centre parcs just after the new year together sharing a villa mind it has dishwasher etc and only 4days .

PaulHope you are doing ok this weekend

James no know message arrived. Think this system goes a bit mad every so often Hmm. Before now have written in a word document then cut an pasted it on to mumsnet to send pm or post on thread to save loosing all my hard work. - bit excessive I know but saves frustration when it just disappears. Nite all

TheHumanCatapult · 04/06/2011 06:56
