I am a single parent of a 4 month and 13 year old on maternity leave until next May and would like to meet other single mums in local area (BS6 and environs) particularly those happy to talk of things other than sleep/feeding . . .

Anyone out there?!

I think I can do next friday too. Would it be morning?

bratnav · 02/11/2009 15:25

I can't offer intellectual, unless reading a booker short-lister counts (probably not ) I can offer bitching about X Factor etc etc, will that do?

Morning works for me, 10ish? Where is best for everyone?

Where is best for you Riven? I have transport and live quite centrally so I think you should choose.

Anyone else coming?

Emmmm · 03/11/2009 21:43

Hi, back from my hols now - i should be able to make it. What's the venue Riven? Any news re Mahalo + baby? Didn't see her at Picton St yoga. I have a baby to cuddle too but am worried incase she's one of those babies that doesn't take well to others' cuddles - so all the more reason to encourage it! Is anyone listening to the singleparentspal.com on radio 4 btw? What do you think of it?

Mahalo had a baby girl last monday but I will let her fill you in.
I can do Friday if baby stays put.

Sorry can't make Friday as I am working, but hope to come along next time. Hope you're all well.

bratnav · 04/11/2009 19:55

Yay for Mahalo

Museum is good for me, see you all there on Friday at 10. Sorry you can't make it QOD, hopefully next time.

lindsaygii · 04/11/2009 20:22

Do you mean in the actual Museum or is it a place called Museum? (I really have only just moved here!)

btw, I started another similar thread in Lone Parents, but only got one answer so far...

bratnav · 04/11/2009 21:02

Actual Museum at the top of Park Street.

Come along, we don't bite

The 20th is a Friday. I'll put a bit more money in the meter next time.. ;)

bratnav · 08/11/2009 09:37

20th is good for me. Should we do a thread in meet ups to see if anyone else wants to come given that Riven and I are all married and everything?
